Screwy Leash Ranges and Enemy Summons...

1. When enemies summon monsters and you kill the enemy the spawn doesn't die. I am looking at you, Spriggan! Some enemies like Necromancer works just fine. When you kill it, the adds die.

I wouldn't be bothered about having to kill the Adds afterward IF they gave exp/loot for killing them.

3. Enemies can chase you far out of their leash ranges attacking you yet when you turn and fire back they heal to full and run away. This needs changed. If an enemy outside of leash range attempts to perform ANY action it should immediately run back without causing further damage to the player.

    1. Where's your number 2? ;)
    2. I thought the issue you mentioned in your number 1 was normal behavior as I've seen this happen with other mobs as well.
    3. Agree.

    1. Reasonable, if one accepts the Spriggans are calling on 'normal' animals to help them while a Necromancer summons and controls an undead so the undead only remains while its summoner lives.

    2. ???

    3. I agree the leashing is stupid in that beyond the leash distance the mob still pursues until it gets in one attack (or you do) before it goes home, until eventually you drag it so far it goes home without engaging: that first state needs to go.

3 was meant to be 2. Screw me there.

I would expect that the "animal" called by the Spriggans should give me EXP if it will hang around attacking me when its master dies.

The issue is normal; I wouldn't mind if the adds gave me exp and loot. I wouldn't mind at all.

There are also a couple places where the Bone Lord summon fellas dont crumble as well when their summoners die. But the ones that jump to mind right away are bosses so maybe they are suppose to be that way.

With a boss, I accept the adds as part of the difficulty. This has been standard ever since RPG's were limited to Tabletop Gaming; the capacity of a monster to summon (and the power of those summons) are configured into the loot/exp/difficulty.

However with trash mobs... I should either have the add die when the master dies or get exp/loot for the add.
