Anyone know of a good program for making in-game video? Preferably high def. Editing ability would be nice also but not mandatory.

    nvidias shadowplay if you use a gtx 6xx or gtx 7xx. almost no fps loss during recordings.

    Dxtory (costs money)

    Open Broadcaster Software.

    There are way more. but in my opinion these 3 are the best. I personally recommend OBS or Shadowplay for Nvidia. (both programs (can) encode via gpu intern hardware encoder. so almost no fps drops)

    If you have an AMD Card just use OBS normal encoder or fraps or dxtory or something. But keep in mind you will loose fps while recording.

    Ohh, MSI Afterburner is also an alternative.

    OBS - I think it stands for Open Broadcast Software or something like that. It's free, used to stream to things like twitch. But, you can set it to capture to disk.

    Fraps is good, but costs money, same with dxtory.

    Fraps + Windows Live Movie Maker, but uploading HD videos is the worst part. Hope you have fiber optic.

    That sounds good. I have a 780 so, I think I'll try the shadowplay. Thanks!

    Keep in mind that video recording software is very different from video editing software. If you just want to make some basic cuts and transitions, Windows Movie Maker is your best bet:

    I just set the resolution in video settings to what my monitor supports and then added ESO to the scene and it works fine fullscreen.
