Cant log in, hotfix broke the game

ERROR: YOur attempting to use an outdated client - go use patcher.

I used patcher, got the patch, ran a full repair.

PROBLEM PERSISTS.

ARGH. Why did you hotfix while servers up.

    Same for me. Restart your launcher and try again. It'll work.
    I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]

    ive restarted launcher like 15 times. I've even deleted the .exe to download a new one and repair. Problem persists.

    Uninstall ALL of your mods then launch the game. Worked for me =)

    Game running (for now), even after UN-announcement hotfix.
    NA PC Server - CP810 - Played Since Beta 2014, but left for 4 years, coz games got unbalancing, boring and too much expensive (still?)

    Some guildies getting same thing. Even after deleting all version files and .exe and redownloading, its still broken.

    I didnt wait, did the workaround listed on KB: It destroyed my game now i have to fully reinstlall. This games launcher is such garbage.

    I guess it's different to a Blizzard hotfix. Those ones don't require downloading of files to the client and pretty much require no downtime from the user. I guess it's because a lot of the game is on the client side in ESO.
