I am having a wonderful time with my first MMO. The solo content that's too hard ... ROTFLMFAO. I don't know where you guys come from. I come from shooters and the solo content is just fun.
Gonna run my Vampire DK through Manimarco's little level 20 test. This will be fun, the adds will be ... used, My Vampires never get fed, they throw nothing, even slightly tasty, away.

Yes, especially since that "two hours" of forced-solo instancing effectively walls off most of the higher-level content.
You forgot about that little detail, eh?
Thought I'd made that clear, but I understand some folks out there either have trouble with reading comprehension or short attention spans, so I'll cover it again for you:Catches_the_Sun wrote: »jbroin1619_ESO wrote: »Forced solo instance ... so you are complaining that character development and an awesome personal story, that you are required to play (which, honestly takes up about ...MAYBE 2 total hours of game play) ruins the game?

What's your real issue with it? Can't afk grind in a group of 10 people to VR12 without doing a little work yourself? Be honest.

I wont give up on this game, but I wont keep my mouth shut when I see something wrong. If we all did that we wouldnt deserve the patches.
Inoright, you should totally be able to go run around Craglorn at level 3 with VR11 enemies just to say "ohai". Lol at your argument "having paid way up front for it". You mean like when you pay way up front for ALL games? Just like you pay way up front for WoW, plus multiple expansions so you can run all the way to Northrend on your level 1 character too? It's a pretty poor argument that you are upset because you can't get to every single nook and cranny of every single zone from day 1 and that somehow is ZoS's fault for poor game design. Plenty of MMO's place level restrictions on certain content/zones.
In ESO however you can in fact grab ANY quest from ANY zone you have access to at ANY level, though good luck killing enemies +45 levels over you. Most other MMO's have quest level restrictions on top on content level restrictions. Also your beloved WoW does in fact have phased zones that you cannot access until you have completed certain parts of quests and are of a certain level, again poor choice of comparison.
Releasing horribly unfinished games is seriously becoming an epidemic. Even with single player games. Now that most games require an internet connection, it's apparently acceptable to release a broken game and fix it over the course of a couple of months through patches. (I'm looking at you, Watch Dogs)
Unless players speak up and say "Hey, we're not freaking Beta testers." nothing will change. Not trying to bash ESO in particular with this post. I'm just stating a general observation.
Name one other AAA subscription MMO - just one - that forces solo play in the main story.jbroin1619_ESO wrote: »MMO does not gaurentee Multiplayer! .. or groups. . it just means there are multiple people playing the game while you are playing!

I'm fed up with the attitude that we shouldn't complain about complainers. If they have a right to complain, then we have a right to complain about their complaints.

If someone has an issue with the game, defend the game. Don't attack the poster. It just belittles you.
If the game is great and you can't simply bring up positive counter points, you don't have much to stand on.
