Endgame is debatable. Some think its VR1 some think its VR12. Most people hate Vet zones (I like them but I can see where they are coming from too.) After that you have PVP, Craglorn, Trials, Raids. Some people enjoy it, some people don't.

As near as I can tell it is the part of the game where you have leveled up your rage and contempt skills to their highest possible values and then re-direct it at the developers, the players, neighbors and even small animals.

Ultimately, it seems to be where hope goes to die.

If youre asking about PvE - after you finish your main story at lev 50 (more or less) you have twice as much leveling still to go but without a storyline or character advancement. In fact youll be back to doing 'youre a nobody' quests except as you go through the zones all the rats, wolves, bandits, etc. will now grow in strength instead of you. Then you get to Craglorn - a zone for group grinding. You can also do Trials there which offer no real challenge or reward. And thats pretty much it.

P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

I feel like this is a troll thread, considering there are a million threads on how bad the end-game is. Sorry if it's not, OP. But to answer the question, it's personal preference. I, like many others, feel end-game was just an after thought. It definitely doesn't feel polished, and gets boring rather fast.

    No, I'm not trolling.

I have not gotten a high enough lvl to see for myself.

Word of advice, take your time from 1-49. The game at that time was amazing to me.

Really no different than any other mmo I've played other than waiting for Tuesdays so I can queue up for raidfinder and solo an old raid for the millionth time in the .02% chance the mount drops that time

Don't worry about the "end game". Focus on experiencing the GAME first and foremost.

Most of the people complaining about the game skipped most of it to get to the end.

Actually in this game when you hiyt end game, it is the end of the game.

Depends on what you mean by "endgame"

    For PvE you have:

Craglorn Vr10-12 group area (adventure zone)
    Veteran 1-10 group dungeons
    Trials (12 man dungeons)

PvP is always there from lvl 10 on, but gets really viable at VR10+

Lots of people will tell you there is no "endgame", but that's not true. There may not be what they want, but there is plenty to do when you are max level.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

Technically none of that is endgame in the normal sense.

Normal as in, you arent grinding levels (all what vr is lvls 51-62), you have a story/gear progression system (not there) accessible only after you hit cap and finish story. The only thing close to end game is trials, but that doesnt fit into any progression scheme.

it is to me. VR are not Levels, all that restricts is what kind of armor you can use.

I remember another game that was kind of like that, we called it the World of warcraft. we got to the max level, some went to PVP some went to work on professions, and some go to PVE. Now whatever you chose rather PVP or PVE, you had to take the extra time to get better gear, the best gear was called Teir and had set bonuses for collecting multiple pieces. But you couldn't move on to harder PVE or do well in PVP, without first slowly upgrading your amor to the higher item levels and tier gear.

Now even this game didn't have raids in the begining, as far as I can tell ESO has Heroics or Veteren dungeons, but nothing similar to raiding like most people are used to. So that just really leave a couple of options. You can clear you map of stuff you haven't done, go to cyrodil for PVP and LOTS more questing and Bigger dungeons, you can enjoy the trials and delves of PVE, or You can, like me enjoy your time working on crafting, so when the better content does get released, we will be ready
