(this is a rant.If you don't like rants ...stop reading now)
I have a VR 1 Wood Elf Nightblade bow/dual wield character. I didn't want to have the DW skill line but was forced to....... to even be able to progress in the game. Time after time I have pve quests that wind up getting my character killed.....over and over and over again.
I'm a very competitive person.I really don't like to loose. (I even started my own business(24 years) because I could not stand to work for bozo's). I read continuously about builds.I make my own crafted sets.I craft every craft skill. In major quest line..my character has to be FAR above the stated quest level. I have played bowmen in mmogs since day 3 of UO creating the mmog category. I know how they play.
I bought this game for the AvA.To AvA, unfortunately you have to pve(you have to get the skill points and lore books or else you are not competitive). I've played SKYRIM (heavily modded to improve the games graphics and make it far more challenging and add game play and depth)for about a year and love the game. So..I know something of Elder Scrolls single player gaming.
Maybe I'll go back to SKYRIM to heal and have some fun.I don't know how much more of ESO I can take.
What no rants about AvA you say ? Two days ago I was up at 3 am...in Cyrodiil...playing solo.....with no one around. In 60 minutes I had to re-log 5x. Enough said.

who force you to use DW? My new main character its a NB ..medium armor and bow from the start. I stick with bow till the end, for my second weapon I leveled a resto staff (because its more easy to find dungeon groups as a healer) . I will agree that stamina builds get very hard in veteran zones ...but no one FORCED me to use DW.
You even have Two handed and one hand and shield for stamina builds (if you dont wanna use DW) .
Why people thinks that DW is a NB only skill???

✭Nah , just get used to it OP , vr1 will be the worse of them all , but you will get the hang of it.
The dif gap from 1/50 and VR lvls is huge.
I also suggest you search for strong NB builds."Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

✭My Khajiit NB is in a pretty good place atm. Disowned him for a few weeks at VR6, but went back to him after being bored with my healer templar. VR9 now and loving him. Think i have his build pretty much how i want it now, and i'm not getting to many problems soloing quests or dungeons in the level above me.0 -

anyways i just watched a NB DW Khajiit nearly solo every boss in Razak's Wheel at VR5 with almost no issue, doesnt look bad to me, hell his stealth initiation hit for nearly 1/4 of most things healthPLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

Like three nightblades taking the celestial mage from 10% to dead on our first kill. I bet they felt bad about themselves.
