Crafting Trait Sturdy, Over 100% Chance to Decay?

Personally I love the sturdy trait
some says its the worst trait but I found it very worthy
Epic piece of armor with sturdy got 28% chance to decay
so 4 piece its over 100% chance to decay
my question is that is there any difference between
196% chance to decay 7 piece and 112% chance to decay 4 piece?

Hilgara✭✭✭✭✭don't thing they are addative. Each piece has a chance to avoid decay independent of every other.Edited by Hilgara on June 30, 2014 12:28PM1 -
Falmer✭✭✭✭It also only avoids the additional decay when you are killed. It doesn't stop the decay in armor you get just from earning experience points, which for my characters is 95% of it.0
