Patch 1.2.3........Blows........

Yeah, Im pissed, very much so. No real communication from the devs, a lot of fixes that came out of the blue, a TON of ignored problems not fixed. Oh yeah, werewolves still not touched or fixed or changes; we still suck badly and there is no reason to bother using it.

Right now I can't play the game, every 3-4 minutes I drop to desktop with an error on the screen 'Art load error' and I have to click ignore once to get back to the game. Of course group members are now dead, if i'm not. Its impossible to play this way. Also every so often the loading screen just pops up for no reason and vanished quickly, also interrupting the game.

My group mates lose there little grammar mark over their head often, and since everyone looks the same in the same drab color of armor, its very hard to find people now.

Yeah, most of this is actually old news, but it just feels like the devs patched and then left for the holiday weekend, fully expecting there to be no issues.

Well guess what devs, judging fro the forums it looks like you may have actually lost a percentage of your subscribers due to your lack of communication. I may be next...

    I would suggest turning off all your add-ons and turning them on one by one to see which one might be causing issues. Or you can download updated versions of add-ons and try those. It totally fixed things for me.

    I have no add-ons. There is nothing to turn off.

    That looks like its a background task interrupting the game and not part of the game itself. I got the same from a backup programme that was bundled with my rig till I uninstalled it. next time see if you can see the programme that generated the error then close it in task manager if its not ESO

    I appreciate the attempt to help, but I disagree, why did this start with patch 1.2.3 and never occurred before? I have changed nothing else on my rig....

    Because if they change something about the game that requires, say, your graphics drivers to be fully up to date, then you would need to update your drivers for it to work properly. That's not a ZO issue.

    Of course, that's just a hypothetical, but there are a number of things that can be happening on your end that may not have been an issue until the game updated.

    Sounds like you need to use the repair tool in the launcher because a file is missing. I am just assuming there is a repair tool that will validate and redownload missing files.

    There is a repair tool. I'm not sure if the OP would want to hold on until after maintenance is done, but it's available through the launcher.

    I located the repair tool last night. I ran it, not sure what it did, but I lacked the time to play afterward so I wont know if it fixed anything till tonight.
