So let me get this right the OP has seen someone with new pets on the live server that no one has access to unless you have a "friend" who test stuffs on twitch which is a game streaming website.

    Pics or it never happened.

OK, then it didn't happen. I don't care if you believe me.

Do you think they will have a cool way to obtain them in the game to give people something to do and strive for. Like maybe a random quest line after you find a stray cat in the woods or something.

    ooooor

    web store?

    mix of both?

Would prefer quest or at the end of a questlines or as achievement reward.

This is great way to kick off your F2P model. Introduce cosmetic items and watch people go nuts over them.

Just saw a guy with a pet cat, and then he switched to a pet dog. I asked him how he got it, and he said he knows a guy who tests stuff on twitch, and that these pets would be coming out next month. I can't wait to get that cat!

So you need help in PvP? K. Keep practicing, but the devs won't patch you some skill. You need to get that yourself.

I understand completely that you are criticizing that they have no usefulness.

I mean what's the point of anything cosmetic? Male and female, tall and short, fat and skinny. None of these make a difference. It's called role playing.

There are many aspects to this online game. Yes, roleplaying is part of this and many people enjoy it. However, many people are insulted by the idea of cosmetic items being implemented into the game with so many other glaring issues.

Assuming players do not understand roleplaying, and targeting those who have other concerns, is ignorant. Requesting them to all go away is also ignorant because without a player base this game will surly die. I want all walks of MMO gamers to say what they want without being insulted or attacked for posting things that are not agreeable to a select few. I also want everyone to continue playing the game.

I do not agree with anything you ever post but I would never ask you to stop playing or leave this game.

He's saying the opposite. Perhaps you're too busy roleplaying house with your khajiit lover to realize, but pets are visible in pvp even when you're in stealth. This makes them more than useless. They're actually very helpful to the enemy.

This kinda thing's been on ESOhead forever.
By no means does that mean it's coming soon. There's tons of stuff on ESOhead that not only may not be coming soon, but might not ever end up being used.

First off, the pets are already created. Like shown on the first page, they've been known for awhile. Second, I keep hearing about so called issues which have nothing to do with this cosmetic addition. Take your specific issues to the support section.
