The responses in this thread are a perfect example of how toxic this community is.

The OP wants to stay in the game and continue playing something he mostly enjoys. He wants to vent his frustration over the part that could drive him away and what happens? The "Pro" TESO players attack and insult him to ensure he is driven away.

Any of the zones I have been in recently are empty and so is chat.

Haha I am pretty sure you must have misread or just completely missing the point of what I'm making this is hardly about be canceling my sub it is more about what is driving off players so before you make some rude ass comment please read up maybe??? I care why players leave a game, the devs care and the money managers care. That is what exit polls are for and constructive comments. The OP felt the need to repost a retitled thread after his other thread was closed, in it he advertised another game as being superior and that they were going to it. frankly, any patience was lost due to this behavior

its ok to not like a game, they are for entertainment and cant please everyone all the time. take a break, come back later and see if its changed to something you like better. if not, enjoy life and other pursuits. I dont understand the constant need to garner support for decisions to leave. its not like this is important in any way

Twice you've said farewell.

Farewell kind of implies "goodbye". This is another "I'm quitting" thread. Your first "farewell" thread said you were moving on to wildstar. If you really want Zenimax to hear your reasons for moving on to wildstar who has their **** together, send them an email, use /feedback in-game, or pm one of the mods here to pass on your information since the exit surveys seem to be broken.

There are aspects of the game that need work; the updates and patches seem to prove they are at least attempting to fix things. The issues will be what the devs and the players consider to be "broken" or "unbalanced". A quest npc not showing up is broken in both viewpoints; DK/NB/Templer being unbalanced might be a matter of opinion.

As for the switching alliances thing; Divines forbid Zenimax do what players wanted. Remember all the ranting about locked factions and how it was against the natural order of the universe or something that players couldn't take one character through all three factions' content? Yeah, they changed things so people could take one character through all three factions. It might not have been the way the ranters wanted, but they did it. And they are getting grief about it. Not necessarily constructive "here's what I didn't like and how I think you can fix it" but "There is more lore behind my little pony than the reason for me trading colors to the enemy side to help them. The game turns into a grinidy redicilous slogfest." comments.

Hope you and your friends enjoy wildstar. Not sure whether that has more lore than MLP, but its new, so maybe they'll be working on it.
