Every now and then you have someone who will ask the most stupidly obvious question that can be looked up in thousands of places... usually ones only otherwise asked by actual new players in the starter zones..

people will try explaining it, but they will just keep acting as stupid as possible to be annoying..

Like having a person come into a VR1 zone and ask how to "smelt ore" then act like a idiot reguarding peoples responses by saying stuff like "where" or "i dont see that"

Its the most annoyingly obvious troll attempt at this point....

the worst of them will come back and ask THE EXACT SAME QUESTION later on just to try and troll more people....

    Agreed... problem is i don't have a active guild... i only do vet dungeons with Pugs atm... so either i shut out any chance to do those in favor of also ignoring all the WTS/B spam and the trolls... or i have to live with them...

    How do I get out of Cyrodiil seems to be the most common one I see.
    Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

    A lot of such questions would come from power-levelers who have missed everything in the game and then finally realised they know nothing at VR12. I would assume most of those would be genuine concerns but if you don't feel like helping such people (personally I wouldn't bother, really), you can just block them :grinning:

    Those are the people who used a guide best/xp hour. Missed almost the whole game and when they got to Vet level....have less play experience then most level 30 have.

    This is getting less though, since more players are starting to realize there are a lot of fun things to do. Highest lvl, Best gear and killing the hardest bosses. Sure! That's very cool! But there are 30 others things just as cool.

    I do giggle at these comments myself :-)

    I don't mind so much. It is sort of fun when you are bored. The more stupid they get, the more stupid your answers get. It is a good waste of time while you wait for some one.

    I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
    Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

    Are you playing on US?

    EU server the zone chat has become quite pleasant at times.
    Gets rare with any spam, and more and more people speaks about just about everything! With each other.

    I havn't seen a public channel with this "nice" behavior since my EQ days, like 10 years ago!

    Ok, some of the channels in Eve was kinda cool too...

    And I have noted that most names of people are name like, or even outright TES types. Maybe people dont give a damn about names.
    But it is nice to almost never see a name like "LOLIKILLU"

    I dont care what people calls their char, as long as its something that looks like a name. I love all of the different lizard names people come up with!
