Tickets got me no where...

When I was only just starting out in this game, I spend 20k for a vamp bite. The guy gave me a motif as a insurance and me thinking that they were worth a lot took it and gave him 20k, the guy ran off and never bit me....

I thought that was no problem because it was clearly against what ZOS would let happen so I put in a ticket reporting the guy, when I got a response, I was told that this was a serious issue and they would work on getting my gold back. They said that they were "elevating the issue". I waited a week and nothing happened so I put in a new ticket just to see what was happening... It got elevated again... I would like to know if they will ever get back to this issue and will I ever get that 20k back?

20k isn't even that much but I am poor as it is and I have been waiting on getting it back since a week after release.

It probably got escalated to the desk of that one lazy guy who somehow manages to keep his job yet does nothing at all, that same one lazy guy who has lost all our escalated tickets. Put another in and hope it gets sent to someone else's desk.

Yikes, that's terrible!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't expect the powers that be to take any serious action against the player that bilked you. This is an unfortunate reality in online games. Player to player trades are something that GM's and Admin quickly shy away from.

However, allow me to point you to this thread. There are players who give away Vampire bites for free. I am one of them, but unfortunately gave my bite away this week to someone who was asking in zone chat: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/comment/980117

You should be able to find at least one person on your server and in your faction there. If not, I'd suggest posting. There may well be someone reading that thread that decides to help out. At least, that's how I ended up there...

@glitchmaster999 We will definitely take a look at that and we apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Also, just in case, always remember to:

Always use either our Help Portal or the in game /help command to open support tickets vs. the /bug command or the /feedback command. That will shorten your ticket's travel a lot.
@Evandus advice is correct, players helping each other out with vampire bites are definitely the way to go if you do not want your character to get infected by in game NPC vampiric creatures

My theory is that it was some funny guy at ZOS support that trolled you the whole time. He sold you a crap motif for 20k and just waited for reaction, sending your ticket into limbo.
