Skin color and vampire

Does your selected skin tone at char creation have any effect on what it will look like after you turn vamp?

IE if I choose a very dark skin, when bitten will i look somewhat normal?

Not really...you turn this gross white color with red eyes regardless. Just keep that in mind when creating your toon. You don't go vampire for the looks, cuz it's hideous, just the skills.

The looks are pretty much the only reason I'd go vampire. Fashionable from head to toe.

"Vampire" and "skin colour" don't seem to mix in ESO:P
Also, the only cool looking vampire I saw is Gwendis. She's SO cute. But she's an NPC...well, the whole Verandis' company is kinda cool.
And I guess Khajiit shouldn't look quite as horrible as vampires.

No, all vampires are the same shade of ashen white regardless of their original skin tone. My first vamp was fair-skinned (yellowish tint), and my second vamp was dark-skinned (greenish tint); they are both the same color now.

My wood elf vampire sorceress is very pale I love it I dislike the raven eyes and want them to make them glow red at stage three and four. And add fangs to females its a must.

Well...it's all a matter of taste..didn't mean to offend...just not my thing. I'd take it over a lizard anything tho.
