Missing/invisible monsters and shards?

Just did bad mans hollow. Snake mother was invisible to me. Luckily in group i still got credit. Sky shard is invisible. I have noticed this happens A LOT with npc quest givers too.
I tried relogging. Nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

Another player is experiencing same issue. He are both currently starring at where a skyshard should be.

and my experience bar only appears after I go into character screen and hit esc for menu.

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Rebooting pc fixed it.

I could not see the dolmen, just the blue thing in the sky, could see some enemies but not the final boss, it was funny to see 4 others hacking and stabbing into thin air.
Then i could not see the lights from skyshards and waypoints and runes.
So i rebooted and it went back to normal, luckily

rebooting shouldnt fix anything ingame. I have noticed that often when you fully exit the game, the npc's will come back.

Between this and the new artdata crash errors, my game is pretty much unplayable . Dear Zenimax, user credit? Free month?

I guess the skyshard in badmans can spawn in TWO locations. This is news to me; I have always gotten the spawn point marked by the add-on. The second spawn point is jumping down a hole. There are two holes to jump down, the most western hole may contain the skyshard.

I've had the same issue since the last patch. I reported it in-game, here on the forum, and through the customer service link.

I received a note from customer service suggesting a number of solutions relating to running TESO as an administrator in Windows 7 (which I already do) and checking settings that relate to DirectX. Nothing worked and they haven't replied to my response.

When the list of problems with the patch was posted by an admin, this issue wasn't referenced in any way.

I'm thinking it's not affecting enough people for them to worry about.

=( sorry to hear that. I really hate when you cant do something 100%. No one wants to come back later to do it.
Hopefully after tuesday's down time, it magically reappears. Not sure if zeni is aware of this issue or how long it would take for them to fix it.

Lol I am missing whole area of enemy npc's now. The quest to capture a werewolf, there are none! hahaha. I see other people fighting them (looks like they are swinging at the air), but I see nothing =(

Generally these issues are caused by slow loading. Have you contacted support?

Define "contacted support." I usually just post in forums to see if it is a popular problem or if someone knows a work around / fix. In-game tickets actually work?

Contacted support means contacted support. Either through the in-game or web-based forms.

The forums can be a place to find a workaround, but players aren't capable of really looking in to your issue to the same level a CS rep can. I have no idea why you would think that in-game tickets don't work, but I assure you, they're functioning just fine.

I was in a dungeon and my skills just quit working. for around 5min. I could use in game mechanics like 'pull lever' etc but nothing I did would reset my skills. reloadui or esc/tab or equipping other eq, drinking potions etc didnt work. I didnt want to log out as I would lose the group I was running with and the dungeon was very diff to be solo on. eventually when we entered a new area they reset. never had that happen to me for such a long time, its usually only seconds (annoying enough) and fixed with esc.

any connection to recent glitches?

reggielee, the bug you experienced has been around for a while. I have yet to figure out what causes it and I have yet to get a 100% instant fix for it besides restarting the game completely.

I kinda assumed in-game tickets weren't that great because of previous MMORPG's I have played. Tickets take forever and dont solve anything was the typical way. Plus seems like nowadays everyone is having some sort of issue. People got their hands full. I may give it a try when the work-arounds stop working-around.

this needs to be fixed for those that have bad fps load the enemys before anything else I did not have this problem with star trek online or age of conan and when stuff was not loaded up you did not fall through stuff.
