Still don't understand this. Since day one I've heard people complain about the graphics or this game not running good on their PC and they have thousands of dollars into their PC. I have a 275 dollar laptop that I got during a Christmas sale a while ago. This laptop has never ran any game, it just couldn't do it. I start up eso beta and it ran fine so I bought it. Currently I am running at 35-40fps on medium/high settings. That's damn good if you ask me for what I am working with. A friend just bought a brand new very nice gaming laptop at 3,000 dollars. He can't get above 20-25fps on medium settings. What's up with that?!

I guess the point is, the ver 1.0's graphic was great already, stop messing with it.

There are so many problems, big and small, making unwanted cosmetic changes, at the cost of performance, is extremely unwise.

PvE guys have no idea whats going on because they play on a small scale.

Before patch 1.2 I ran a smooth 60fps, i7 yada yada. Post patch 1.2 I run about 40 and drop to 10-15 during battles with 80 or more people.

It's an issue. Graphics optimization criticism you never heard about ESO. With 1.2 optimization to a big step backwards.

Even in PvE, I now constantly run into problem with environments not properly loaded, this never happen before.

They really need to stop messing with the graphics, if not outright rollback to 1.1.

150$ is enough to run on next to max settings.

Get a GTX 750 and stop compaining...

His 7950 should be more than capable. That is what my wife is running and she doesn't have a single issue since the new patch. So, I doubt it is his graphics card.

Somehow I missed the post you quoted. 7950 is actually 50% better than 750, lol. I guess @Hypertionb14_ESO‌ needs to check out benchmark first.

I have a GTX 780 and i7 4770k. I run below max settings and cant maintain 60 fps in large cities even before recent patch. The truth is that this game is not well optimized.

I run dual 290x on an i7 4770k with 16GB of RAM and 3 monitors running the game at 5760x1080. NEVER drop below 60 unless in a very heavily populated area, then I suffer at 45. My wife's machine is a FX 6300 with a single 7950 with 8GB or RAM and it runs just fine. My cousins rig is a 8350 with a 780ti and 8GB of RAM and he has frame issues in all towns and Cyrodiil... I don't think this game KNOWS what it wants in regards to optimisation. They tweak one side of it and then it will break for ones that it was working for.

indeed, I wish them get the priority straight out and focus on performance above all cosmetic changes.
