So, I just got my first horse. I had read fairly recently that there was a bug that allowed horses to sprint forever. I assumed that this would have been patched out immediately, but as of today (6/27/14) I was amazed to find that my horse can, in fact, sprint forever.

...

Really? Come on, patch that already, that's pretty crazy.

Also, I want 1st person view available while i'm on a horse.

It's a feature of horses. Fact.

It is not a bug . It is how horses are designed. The stamina only determines how much damage you can take before falling down. You also can't start sprinting without some stamina.

Ah! I didnt know you couldnt sprint without 1 point in stamina! COOL!
Thanks! I had no clue what that food thing would do, so I just put 1 in stamina one day I wanted to use the horse. I started 5 days early access and didnt even buy the horse the first week, heh.

I though feeding it would last 24 hours. 250 gold for that?!?! no way.

I did not know the awesome feature, for me, that it adds bag space, which dont go away, unless you switch horse.

When someone told me that! it was bagspace aaaaalll the way. I WAS wishing I did not spend that 1 point in stamina. All others are in bag space.

But now, 1 point in stamina to sprint....well worth loosing 1 bag space.

No ,all horses have some stamina to start with so all can sprint immediately after you buy them. You just can't start sprinting once the stamina bar reaches 0. You have to wait a bit to recover than you can sprint again. If you don't stop sprinting you can however go full speed 'forever'. I went all the way in speed on my horse. My normal horse outruns almost everyone in Cyrodill.
