I am vet level 5 so I was thinking to try pvp. Are you saying it is not worth it? I hear people are not only frustrated with lags/fps etc in Cyrodil, but now with rewards being rubbish...Grinding through veteran levels has been a nightmare so I thought pvp would be a reward for me once I get to max level...

Sadly, if you wanted good PvP, Beta was the time for it. Never experienced it better than then for ESO.

Also, just checked....I never got a reward even..... :(

Cool, 30k. Now ik can finally buy me some sweetrolls.

To be honest... i am V8 almost 9 and have only spent money on levelling my horse which is already done and repair. Don't know what to do with my money, so ill just throw the 30k on the pile and keep on PvP'ing.

Also, all PvP rewards are worthless. The stuff you buy from PvP vendors are way worse then my CE treaurechest loot and the items send by mail for PvP are always staffs and heavy armor which i both don't use on my NB.

Send it to me. I need to buy more bank space and bag space. I'm poor.
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

So Im sure most of us were excited when we logged on today to find out what the pvp campaign reward was after waiting 3 months. BUT then immediately went to cancel their subscription when all we got was like 30k gold.... I think that was probably the final straw for most of us...

You guys play to pvp and complain when your reward isn't up to your expectations? Seriously?? Those of us who only pve don't even get a chunk of gold at 90 days so stop whining and appreciate your prize.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gold I received. I was expected gold, and not much, as someone had already reported getting 3k on Celarus, so finding 20k in my inbox was nice. I can think of a million things to do with that gold.

Either way, this seems like a really strange thing to cancel your subscription over. The reasons people give for cancelling on these forums boggle my mind sometimes. Yesterday I saw someone say they cancelled because framerates were too low in Cyrodiil after the patch, as if never in a million years will that get fixed. People like this are just going to quit no matter what because they're literally looking for reasons to quit. Hopefully ZoS takes what they say with a grain of salt.

Being disappointed with a reward or a couple days of lag is reasonable, quitting over it means you're not worth trying to keep as a customer.

I'm going to quit, because... wait... let me think of a reason... still thinking...

I can't think of a reason, so I will just continue having fun.

Zenimax should care for PvE / PvP rewards in a balanced manner, equal rewards for time/success spend in PvP/PvE should be given to players.
Actually, this is not happening. PvE-Rewards from the new addon-zones are BY FAR better than the PvP-rewards you can buy with your "realmpoints".
Secondly, there is no opportunity to spend "realmpoints" to buy mana-potions, etc.., like you buy siege equipment.
That 2 points are very disturbing and dissappointing in my view, not justifiable! This determines if this is more or less a PvE-focused game. Zenimax stated that Cyrondil and PvP are a core aspect of the game, therefore we want to be rewarded in an appropriate manner and not with GOLD THAT YOU CAN FARM IN A FEW DAYS for 3 months of hard fights!!
    My 2 cents

Oh <snip> - another one. Pvp rewards are fine. If you don't like it sell it, build your own armour or ask someone to build it for you.

He man i didn't say it was a bad thing. All the rewards are crap yes, but for me the fun is PvP itself (and thus the reward itself)

I am not spoiled, but why not just email me some gold instead of some green useless piece of armor/weapon). Saves me to empty my inventory all the time. And i PvP a lot so i get to many emails woth items
Ok, agreed. Wee sorry for the bratty comment against you.

screw the gold, we all were expecting something wayyyyy cooler than some stupid gold. big let down from zenimax once again

We were already told that the end of the campaign rewards were gold and how much depending on if your side won and where you placed in the rankings. We have known this for months. This is just like a small bonus. The real reward is the bonus your alliance gains for controlling the map. owning your home territory, enemy keeps, scrolls ect, these bonus make your character stronger, increase your gold and exp gain. And your side can do this at any point in the campaign regardless of what the score is.

Kind of whiney. I switched to wabba near the end and lost my progress but so what. I got 5k and I was happy. I hope people who hated the reward DO unsub. Not the kind of players I want to interact with.

Any reward given, would not be enough for some people.

A memorable reward would have been enough for most people. They give army commendation medals and silver stars for soldiers in real life and these arent things that will make them millionaires, but its a unique item given for the memory and acts done.

I was perfectly happy with my reward.

What do you think it should have been? Instead of just complaining that you didn't get what you want, why don't you actually post something constructive and tell what it was you were expecting. How do you expect ZOS to give you what you want when instead of articulating it, you just complain?

    • Top 10 of each Faction...

I like this in theory, but as a practical matter, it would reward too many exploiters. While not every top-ranked character engaged in... let's just call it "unintended gameplay techniques," a substantial number did.

If your goal in Cyrodil is amassing gold, you're doing a lot of things wrong.

Look -- PvP here is pretty darned fun. It awards skill points, random gear, titles and the joy of 'outskilling' some dude when you catch him on his horse, reading a map while eating a sandwich. If you have a regular group of 2 or 3 friends, an active campaign can be awesome.

That's the reward. The gold is just a little bonus.

oh...you're one of THOSE people are you

"fun in itself is a reward!!!111!"

god...the issue here is the NINTEY DAY end of campaign "reward". If theyre going to reward people they should have at least made it memorable.

You are right... I should now write to valve that I want some serious reward for my efforts during so many years of killing terrorists and nazis in CS and DOD. I am sure I made way way over milion kills.

I think legal aimbot would suit my effors.
Valve: but you had fun playing our game no?
Me: yes I had a hell lot of fun, but give me my reward! Noooow!
