I have a question, my Breton NB in light armour has above max spell resistance.
If I was to become a Vampire, how does the -50% fire resists affect my character?

It's not -50% fire resist, it's +50% damage to fire.
Your spell resistance will come into play first to determine if/how much of the spell gets through.
If it's fire based, at that point, you will take double the amount of remaining damage someone else would from the same spell.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it
wrong...
Earn it.

Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say
High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS
