Said players have affected me in the past. I always try to be a helpful part of the community, but encountering these players (every day) in the past has lead me canceling subscriptions. Their constant crying and frustrations seem to shape other's opinions of the game.

the forums are not making meless inclined to play. the game itself has done that with Poor balance , broken specs, bad itemization ,bugs, Boring end game

Can I ask you to elaborate on why you are still playing then? Do you think the things you dislike will be corrected within one year or sooner?

Im playing out my sub would like to get my sorc to V12. the last two weeks have been very little play time ill log in play a dungeon or a small amount of PVP. I do think Zos did a brillant job on the 1-50 content Eso is not horrible . The VR dungeons can be fun once you accept that the grouping is all DPS and a heal.Ive played MMO's form launch and expected a fair bit of balance issues , flat spots in content and Very thin end game.

But 12 ranks of quest grinding or craglorn grinding was not expected. Zero end game iteimzation aside from crafted was not expected. and the complete Broken melee and armor system was not expected. Do i think ESO can correct these issues in one year? yes. Sooner ? no they have horrible issues with the server patching the learning curve seems to be huge for the team . each patch breaks way more then it fixes and we are seeing them back away form the promises the Botherhood and thieves guild will be in any time soon. Possibly early next year from the last Dev interview.

I expected a launch product Like Trion Delivered imbalanced ,Its what we expect from AAA title and a fully funded studio, thin on content at end game and a fair bit of bugs. By 31/2 months after Launch Trion had 4 content updates, 2 live events a new raid a pleathora of quality of life features. And the Balance issues were far more even . It still had issues but that team had an answer for everything , they were transparent. when hackers got in the next day they had the coin lock feature and refunded peoples gold and equipment.

Do i like ESO yes! Do i think it has potential? yes .will i continue to sub? no i already canceled . Im not gonna pay to Beta test a product that was clearly Rushed had very little intention of getting its end game together in a timely fashion( its why we have the silly VR grind). Ill return in a few months and see how far they got in fixing it. And no i wont be playing wildstar its ridiculous.

No, I just don't care about all thoses girly men whining all days.

Game is fun and nicely done me and my friends we love it. We just know that forum is the wall of lamentations.

They do make me less inclined to visit the forum however

They are good for a laugh now and then tbh

If you have played MMO's long enough (and browsed their forums) you would know that every MMO forum has "toxic" chat in them.

But mixed in the "toxic" chat is concerned players, and conrstuctive criticism. If you read these forums, you will see allot of that, moreso then other MMO's. because there are allot of players that are concerned about the games current state and it's direction.

not all negative responses to the game are "toxic", just like how not all positive responses to the game are "fanbois". An intelligent and reasonable person recognizes this. This MMO has no more toxic griping then others. it certainly has more concerned players, and with good reason.
