Is Shadow Cloak or its morphs broken again?

How is it mobs now just track you even after you go invisible, I hope this is not included in the CC immune mechanisms?
It seems that once a monster is about to cast on you even if you go invisible they still cast on you and break you out of stealth as if nothing happened beside us using up magicka.

Anyone notice this? It seems to be more obvious on casting or projectile launching enemies, they just track you and continue to cast and will not get interrupted.

    This used to interrupt them from casting and now allowing them to complete it, I have been reading in the forums and yes this is apparently an ongoing issue where mobs actually can still detect us in Invisible mode more than they can from just regular sneak. It just seems magnified now after 1.2.3.

    Not exactly. It can only interrupt casting if it's a channeled ability or has a cast time. The way the game works, damage is applied as soon as the ability is cast, but the animation continues to play. This mechanic is why animation canceling works so well.

    With the 1.2.3 patch, it seemed like it was actually working in PvP for a few days. After yesterday's maintenance, it's back to popping you out of stealth. Had it fail about 6 times in a row.

    Breathing breaks it.

    I'm at a crossroads, I either reroll DK or just go back to quick and dirty sPVP in GW2 with my Ranger.

    Yeah I noticed right after the patch, mobs that didn't do it before, are now following me when I go invisible. I would go invis, move around them, and they would keep facing me. Also, sometimes they would start a heavy attack, I would go invis, the heavy attack would still connect. Dots still messing it up too.

    They did fix the magicka cost issue when you had low magicka at least.

    Exactly heavy attacks and heavy range attacks even if they are just initiating it with their effects, in the past when you then use invisible that would not allow them to continue, it just doesn't make sense that just because it was cast before you disappeared and still track and face then hitting you whilst your invisible. This was not the case in the past so yeah it has been more broken if you can say now.

    It's not working properly in PvP either. NB utterly broken at the moment.

    i think it's intentinal tbh, someone was bugging mobs into a broken state with it often last i remember on EU EP

    If only DoTs.... I had to put it away from my bar as an archer NB, because pretty much EVERYTHING I did instantly canceled my stealth.
    Shoot an arrow (heavy, Venom, Snipe, Strife.. whatever projectile)-> stealth -> arrow hits -> stealth canceled
    Stealth -> Venom Arrow ticks -> stealth canceled
    Volley -> stealth -> arrows start raining -> stealth canceled

    There is also a bug with Shadowy Disguise, the 100% crit chance only seems to apply on single target instant attacks only. If I draw a bow or cast a spell it won't crit unless I use Shadowy Disguise right before my projectile colides with my target (wich then breaks the stealth). It also doesn't seems to work correctly with AoEs. When I use Steel Tornado it doesn't get the critical damage bonus, but can't confirm for sure sinds I don't use tactical combat foundry addon, but from my observations I only crit 1/2 under invisibility.

    Cause u should disappear while being hit, makes sense. DoT should cancell it and not be fixed.

    Tell me, which other class has their main survival skill stop working because they have a DOT on them? Green Blood? Blot Escape?

    Broken again. Old issues on a skill and its morphs that have never been properly working since beta. Curious to know whether they are still "working on it".
