Option to hide shoulders, please.

Hello,

My request is pretty straightforward. I would like the option to hide the shoulders on my armor. I really like the look of the lower tier Breton light armor shoulders, but haven't found a suitable replacement past the third tier.

Since this functionality already exists with being able to hide a player's helmet, I would like to think that this could be done to shoulders with little development time or work. Is this possible?

A better solution maybe would be to add a small tickbox to each item in the inventory/gear screen allowing us to choose which items are visible or not !

I agree. I always hated in WoW that you could only hide your helm and cloak. WoW always had huge football player sized shouldpads.

A better solution would be having the option to turn any set of gear into a costume. That way you equip what you like, don't equip the pieces you don't want showing, and turn it into a costume. Then you wear whatever shoulder pieces and whatever other gear you want, and put the costume on. This also alleviates the problem of what happens when you don't like the way the gear for your level looks, and you really prefer the way lower level gear looks.

Yes!! This way I can run around in Cyrodiil with just Boots and a helmet showing!!

Considering I love iron, and steel armor the most...I would love this feature.

Especially when epic and legendary tempers make your armor look more hideous than it's fine equivalent.

I agree, but I'm trying to be realistic and pose an idea that is most feasible from a time/quantity of work standpoint. I don't think it'd be much overhead to implement being able to hide shoulders, but creating a costuming system probably would take a lot more time.

I'd like to see the ability to hide shoulders now with a costume system down the road, personally.

While it's nothing urgent... this would be a good feature, or even as someone else suggested to put a box to check/un-check next to each item... although there may be an over abundance of naked Nords around all the main hubs.... so just the shoulders works fine as well. Either or... I can't see the harm in it, only more choices for each player which is a good thing in MMOs.
