"Constructive Criticism" about End Campaign Reward
First I would like to say thank you to Zenimax Online for the reward and all the effort put into the PvP content, it is a lot of fun and all.
But I feel the End of Campaign reward is a bit lacking,
like we are talking about 3 months of hard work for some of us, for the first week I was Number 1 on Wabbajack, becoming first Emperor,
But in the end AD came in 3rd, I can understand not getting rewarded as much as the other 2 Alliances, but it seems to be so little for the shear amount of effort that some of use have put in, Pic below of the mail I got tonight plus my PvP Rank currently.
In the end I got about 18,500 for 3 months of hard work, like i feel the gold is nice, but would been so much nicer to get something else, like some AP or some type of item.
just want to know other ppls thoughts, but also would like to get some feedback from the Devs if possible.

Rank 75 overall on Auriel EU, over 3mil AP and captain rank : in my opionion 42k is a bit of a joke.
I'm pretty mad, but I'm sure those with much higher numbers would be fuming right now. Our usual emperor with 11mil AP got 42k as well, he is frigging pissed, haha. I don't really understand why Zenimax is giving pvpers the shaft like that, especially after putting up with all the lag/unbalanced crap we got these past 3 months.

I really think rewards need to get better balanced because ppl that are working the hardest are getting the shaft.
also I spent gold on repairs too, I may have lost about 50k g on repairing walls and doors.
the 18,500 gold doesn't even put a scratch in that. :-/
It just sort of makes me feel disappointed is all.
@Zenimax please do something about balancing PvP Rewards. please

Some special siege machines would have been nice, or at least a container full of the ordinary oil and catapults. Maybe a extra size forward camp or something fun like a party tent with beer kegs and roast boar.5 -

27K Gold reward, for 3 months of pvp.
Ridiculous, something that could be farmed in a few hours. Everyone in the top100 of my faction seems to have the same reward, no matter their involvement. 1 week would have been enough.
In comparaison, back in the beta weekends and the 48H campaigns, I would get 9K gold. At the end of each 48H campaign. Not being the winning faction.
If you scale that to a 90 days campaign, you'd get over 400K gold.
I wasn't expecting anything near that, I was like... alright, realistically, it should be between 50K and 100K. Reasonable. Nothing fancy. If it's anything else, or more than that, I'l definitely be happy about it.
I was considering my expectations to be very low. They still manage to disappoint.

siledre✭✭✭other game pvp's didn't have any rewards given out that I've ever played, you pvp'ed because it was something you liked to do, I think any reward we get after is a pretty nice gesture, I do agree however that maybe for the top 10 some item could be given aside from the gold.4

Forztr✭✭✭✭If I'd known the way the rewards are allocated I would have switched to a DC winning campaign a couple of weeks before the end and grinded up to reward level 3.
The only reason I stuck it with a losing campaign was because I didn't want to lose all the time I'd put in. I foolishly thought 75 days in a losing campaign would be better rewarded than 15 days in a wining one so stayed. That decision cost me 22.5k gold.
They need to rethink the rewards, I should not have got the same as the number 1 ranked player for my faction.
The rewards need rethinking for next time.
I wonder what this sudden rush of cash into the economy is going to do?5 -
Zrakie✭✭When I opened the mails and saw that they contained only gold, first I was laughing, then I got serious for a moment and thought that "Is this for real, 90 days for 42k?"
But then after wondering about it for a while, I was actually fine with it. Since this campaign was nothing close to being fair for all.
If you take into consideration all the exploits and the mess with the vampires.... In the end the reward didn't seem too bad, even tho I was disappointed a little when I expected at least a tittle and some cosmetic.
So I guess I could call it that I will let it slide this time around and hope they will rework the reward system to be more rewarding in the next campaigns for those who play mostly PvP.
Maybe even make it that there is no cap in reward tiers, since reaching the lvl 3 reward tier didn't take that long to achieve."Templar's brew is The Divine Tonic."1 -

not me, I hate cheating, it takes the fun out of the game.....
I like working hard, that way I feel rewarded for my Efforts,
I would never feel any type of accomplishment if I cheated, the thought of cheating alone makes me cringe... :-/

This is exactly what I was thinking. A lot of QQ over something (end of campaign reward) that every true PvPer doesn't give a toss about.Unsubbed and no longer playing, but still checking the Alliance War forum for the lulz.

It said it was abusing something incredibly stupid and overpowered...There is a Key difference between the two.
and still no it's not overpowered, you need to learn how to not melee someone doing Bat-Swarm, you attacking them from outside 10meters, and you will never have a issue.

1. Given 1 x super rare "look at me" Yellow Armour/Weapon to anyone that Got emp
2. Given 1 x yellow Armour/Weapon to anyone that top three outright
3. Given 1 x Rare Purple for anyone in outright top ten on outright leaderboard
4. Given 1 x special Purple Armour/Weapon for class top ten
5. Given 1 x special Purple Armour/Weapon for pact top ten
The gold is fine, although it's unbalanced and requires a fix immediately as those ranked say top ten are getting the same as someone that is ranked 411th .... What now?
I'd have thought that AP would have been given too for the different categories and standings as well, but I guess that is something that has been decided against.

Same here. Repairing walls needs to give more of an AP boost, or they need to cut the price (both AP/Gold) dramatically.4 -
