Hmmmm, I played Skyrim extensively along with my wife and we never had that much problem with the Hearthfire expansion. There were a few minor glitches here and there, but nothing major. And we had an extensive amount of add-ons that we installed as well, but that also included the "Unofficial Hearthfire Patch" :)

Housing is desirable. Housing crafted by Players should be more customisable, and thus more of a personal statement.

If they can let us craft houses like the Dunmer ones in Solsteim I'll be very happy. If I can craft a small castle, with stone carvings even better.

I haven't entere veteran ranks, but doesn't the game take us into the different factions as if we are now part of that faction? If so, where can we build a house that wouldn't be affected by our location? Cyrodiil comes to mind, but I know PvPers will flip out over something like that.

@lisa. Player housing would have to be in a special instance, where we could visit from anywhere.

Not sure how they would play that in the game, probably some sort of pocket universe/dimension.

    Special player housed instances, sure.
We already have pets, you can already marry other players and adoption seems extremely counter productive given the lack of children in game.

God no, that was the buggiest expac ever put out by bethesda. Took me umpteen playthroughs to actually be able to build all 3 houses due to constant game stopping bugs.<blockquote class="Quote" rel="Phantax">

TESO is not and never was a Combat game and neither is ESO. It's an RPG that involves some combat but it is possible to play and enjoy without even whacking one wolf.

Having come from the TESO world and being a certifiable hoarder, I would love a house where I can show off my stuff and hoard to my little heart's content. Instanced would be fine. I do realize though that there are more pressing issues even if one of my pressing issues is inventory control.

Marriage (which I can technically already do with rings of Mara, but should be open to all.. maybe without the exp bonus), housing, and pets.. yes. I don't care much about the housemaid/adoption type options. Housing I know they're working on, but it's gonna take a long time. Seems like they didn't have plans to implement it until after they saw player demand, and stuff like that tends to take a long time to write up code for.

We do already have a system for pets and marriage though (though the marriage one is tied to exp bonus and was a bonus for CE, I think). Would like a bigger variety of pets and all.

Really? I had four different characters build all three houses with nary an issue. My final two played through all 3 expansions to the end and built 3 houses, bought some houses, earned a house in Dragonborn and filled them all to the brim with stuff and never had an issue.

Housing would be fine, but other things need fixing and new areas need to be opened up for play first.

One thing is certain. This would interest more of the Elder Scrolls playerbase than a new raid instance would. State of the game today.

Definitely missing player-housing. Marriage already in the game. Pets... already in the game, too, to an annoying degree since some pets look as big as mini-vans.

But definitely missing player-housing. I -still- pop back into EQ2 once in awhile to tinker.
