he has to be a troll. Its way to wide spread and he can't be that dumb.

During trials there are little spikes where every.single.person says there frames go to single digits (even our insane nerdy tech guys who have more money than sense and have ultra computers)

We can't figure out what causes it, but it just happens here and there at seemingly random times.

I can't figure out what causes it in cyrodil either and it happens rarely in dungeons.

It also happens rarely on anchors and when this happens everyone at the anchor starts "lego walking" and asking if anyone else is lagging (mistaking framerate issues for lag)

it is not isolated

I don't know if this problem is related to that but, holy damn, that is a huge load for the PC/Internet to handle for something that will no be useful at all.

As I thought. They've fixed nothing after busting the game on Tuesday. We will have to wait.. who knows how long.. for these issues to be fixed. Another round of cancelled subs I'd say. I've got more money than sense and hate everything else so I'll probably stay on board. But it's not happytimes.

i'm starting to rerget spending 1.3k euros on a computer for new games when this is the only game im playing atm, was probably better off sticking with a prehistoric laptop as i would get the same fpsin cyro.

and as many others have said..

how about give us some info about what is beeing done about this issue at this VERY moment ?

when i go to any other company or to any other person on this whole planet with somthing broken, i actually get an explanation and an eta.

so why is it that this is not the case with zeni ?

to busy facebooking at work or what ?

I've only done a couple of anchors in the AD area, so I don't have a lot to compare. And, even at the same anchors, it varies. Sometimes I can get through the anchors with minimal problems, but then there's the 7 frame drop in FPS overall (sometime 10 FPS).

You dont need FRAPS for that, just type /fps ingame or use addons. FRAPS will decrease your FPS even more.

Good to know about the add-ons.

But the point remains that my overall FPS dropped. If it's caused by the new lighting, I would prefer to have be able to toggle it off. I thought the game looked fine before.

This should seriously be of the utmost priority. It makes Cyrodiil COMPLETELY unplayable. You are taking away 1/2 of your end-game content because of this bug. Random broken quests do not need to be fixed when there are major issues like this taking place.

For me in cyrodill, during sieges and zergs, fps dropped from 35 to 10-15 since last patch, wtf , unplayable.

the rage ammount in cyrodill is beyond imagination.

people try to come back to the game and sub again only to find this, they unsub again

and people who never unsubbed also unsubbed after this

unless they comment soon they will continue to lose more and more customers

they should'v commented on this before we even make a raging fken post

and yet, still no response, no hot fix, no promises

Tons of people have cancelled in the last 48 hrs because ZoS has said nothing and has not hotfixed it.

I think it has something to do with a certain player skill or something. I only get those FPS drops around people, and it doesn't have to be a huge group. A group of 13 people caused it on me, then a group of maybe 18 caused it, then a swarm of uncountable amounts does nothing to my FPS.

I had this problem in Cyrodiil yesterday. To be honest I'm not sure it's because of the patch. Yesterday was the last day in my campaign (don't know if others follow the same schedule) so I figure everybody wanted to make a last effort for their team. Overcrowding might explain the unused GPU, since the bottleneck might be CPU-related, leaving the graphics card with little to do.

I'll check again in a while to see if the problem's still there.

[EDIT]Strike that, today is the same. Since I was able to play Cyrodiil before the patch and now I basically drop to <10 fps whenever I get near a skirmish, I'd say the patch must have done something. Population for the campaign is relatively low compared to last week.

I personally don't mind if they take 2-3 days to fix an issue. I'd rather it's done properly than botched. They have communicated that they acknowledge the problem with the FPS drop and they're investigating. So the response so far has not been bad in my eyes.

What I find criminal is the QA process and the resurfacing of issues. Almost every major update so far has caused huge problems in PvP. In many cases it reintroduced previously fixed issues or reverted previous changes. It's like there's no testing when code branches are merged and this is the 3rd time this has happened.
