I don't know if this has been asked already or if it would even be possible in a game as large as ESO, but here I go anyway.
What do you guys think? I got the idea from games like DayZ, ARMA3 and the upcoming H1Z1. This would add a lot especially to role playing and group communication (even though you could use an external app like teamspeak ect. but who wants to give their teamspeak info to random people they met with group finder, that's to say if they even have teamspeak installed...
They could maybe even add the following modes, bound to different key bindings (more or less like side chat):
Group chat - only speak to people in your group.
PM - Only speak to one specific person (Could be selected in the quick slot wheel thingy).
Perimeter chat - speak to all people in an area surrounding you.
And obviously you should be able to prevent people from talking to you, whether it be a single person (troll/stalker) or entirely disable all incomming voice chat.
Please answer and discuss!!
I have to add that ESO is my first MMO I really put a lot of time in to, and this is my first post on these forums so please be gentle.

Would you want an ingame VoIP system in ESO?? Should be toggleable (Obviously). 86 votes
