How are you guys liking the new feature? I for one started a Sorcerer -don't have one- and kind of reminds me of WoW hunters...sent pet and kill mobs one by one..

Though I think Vet content tank pet will get owned quick?

Use two with the new targeting feature. Find them useful for distracting enemy & they can take down on their own.

    here is the problem.

when you press Y then left click the target, you are also initiating a light attack at the target and therefore aggro it.

it should be target and press Y for pet to attack (w/o clicking left mice), and press Y and right click to call back.

Tab target first and you won't aggro when you trigger your pets.

I played around with it for a bit. It seems to work fine with two pets out although I wish you had a way to tell each pet to target their own monster.

I maped one of my 4/5 mouse buttons as Y so now I press mouse 5+left click pet attacks without my light attack...

if i tab targeting a monster, then press Y, but don't I still have to left click it? if so, that would aggro it?

No, you don't attack when you press the left mouse button while pressing the pet attack key (Y by default, check if you have remapped it to another function). Y is just the control key, you still have to issue the command with left or right button.

try using explosive morph of weird zombie monkey summon.
sending it in, set some traps up, then let it explode. does pretty good damage and is fun to use.

have been really enjoying the new commands. I'm very glad they added and hope they add some more love to pet commands in the future.

I would prefer the option of a small pet bar.

I am convinced the stealth thing is not working because I found the same sorc stealthed (in the same location no less, lol) twice due to his pets just standing there beside him, unstealthed and derping.

    Good to know.

Old thread I know, however while we have the ability to command pets, there are moments when they get stuck and don't attack --- INCLUDING the storm atro.

There needs to be two things in place before you can command your pet to attack. You need line of sight to the target, which means nothing between you and the target, not just that you can see it. And the pet needs a clear path to get to the target. They won't go around things like the Shield Charge skill makes the PC do. Even standing behind the pet can mess this up. So, move to the side, make sure the pet can go straight to the target, then use Y and the Left Click.

Note, the pet will navigate some obstacles, but not very often.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I don't find enough situations where its useful to slot Conj on both bars. When I do, I just don't have time to use the controls, I just use my spells (usually Restoration Staff to keep them healed wtih a spell or 2 for Damage).
