Whats best way to level up Summoning ?
Since Crowd-Control nerf, having to get these stupid pets to help with survivability.
I submitted a Bug Report, Delays Progress
Due to the crowd-control nerf, this character is having to spec into Summoning to contend with the multiple MOBs this game throws at you.
Because of this NEW spec, this character is having to go to lower level zones to level-up this new Summoning spec, hence, "Delays Progress" ..thanks for switching horses mid-stream.
I can understand why EOS would nerfed Crowd-control, but it should have been done months ago before players settled in on a play style.
IMO, Crowd-control nerf has pretty much pigeon-holed all Mage type players into Summoners ...so much for diversity.

If you cant do quests without them (because of cc nerf?) and you cant do quests with them (because they die?), then get in a grind group. You dont need the pets out to skillup, you just need the skills loaded on your toolbar. You could pack your bar with 5 summoner skills and 1 aoe and go to crows nest or similar zone where people just kill kill kill.
Er, pets have always broken CC, I think you're confused about something.I think the CC changes the OP is talkijng about is the changes that now NPC's can break CC like players do

A summoner needs 2 slots on each bar so you only have 6 "skills" to slot between both weapon bars.
If you want Inner Light that is 3 skills on both bars.
Oh and in vet zones your summons die in 1-2 hits from every mob and Empowered Ward is gone in one hit, so you don't even get to enjoy the damage bonus it gives your summons.
