Yes I can play new content update..... Wait I have to do full download again ???
Does anyone have this same problem both times they have rolled out content updates I've got excited to see what it has to offer but have to download the full 25gb that the game is now. Am I being silly & missing the reason for this happening ???

Any idea behind the reasons for it ? Only thing I can think of is because they've changed certain content that already exists we have to download it again but the that would also include smaller maintenance patches. Guess I can wait till tomorrow to play.0

yes it verifies he files first then allows me to click play, but then starts downloading the whole game agin0

My launcher kept freezing during the "applying patch' phase after it DLed the first four gigs of the new patch. It froze at the same spot each time, 18226mb remaining. zOS told me to hit cancel and repair but the button never said cancel, just pause and resume.tried reinstalling launcher and now its redownloadibg the whole game from scratch. At 70kbps. So in three days or so u guess I'll know if I can play my broken, subscription based game. I'm a huge supporter and fan of ESo but they need to figure this launcher stuff out. Also their customer service have great response time, but their "troubleshooting" tips are not generally helpful.0

TilirithSoul ShrivenSame here. Applied patch, tried to run game - error. Clicked repair, it veryfied my files and started to download whole game again. Happy days... Just on my only day off this week. And connection is going slow...0

Well I DLed 5GB with 5MB/s... and APPLIED 27GB with 52 MB/s... thats the Installation of the patch, not a complete new download.0

This is how it is when it works as intended. I know I and at least a few others launchers are crashing during the "applying patch" part of the installation.
For instance mine froze on ~18300mb remaining each time, never at a different point, leading me to believe its a corrupted file. I tried reinstalling the launcher and it created and starting downloading the 27gig initial file all over again.Edited by mattgbrowneub17_ESO on June 25, 2014 6:28PM0 -
Just realised as well that this causes another problem I have. When the patch is downloaded I have to verify my computer again to be able to play a small thing but should be able to remember whether my PC is verified.0

ok ignore me just read the message on the login screen saying I will need to enter a new one time passcode after patch is installed0
