So why did you change Nords Armor bonus Racial?

    There was a small set of notes pertaining to racial passive changes that were missed in the v1.2.3 patch notes. We sincerely apologize. It is never our intent to leave things out of our patch notes. We're working on pulling them together and getting them added.

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ any idea when we'll see this extra information? I know you have your hands full atm, just wondering :)

    These aren't the only notes you missed. I wish we could change our race in response to these changes. If I made a Nord for the motive of 700 Armor, I would be mad if it were nerfed. I would want to be allowed to Race Change.

    When you make changes to our characters you really need to give us the ability to respond to those choices you made.

    I prefer the concept of passives that provide % or relative value perks since these will continue to scale over character development. Fix values usually mean the bonus is too high earlier on or not very effective for a higher level character.

    I'd even agree if not for the fact that the change to Nord racials is clearly a buff because of the way armor rating works in this game. You lost absolutely nothing.

    My Nord, stamina focused NB got so buffed this patch I'm a little scared they made mistakes and will nerf me soon! Nord passive buff, Ambush stealth damage buff, Rapid Strikes damage buff, and Medium Armor Stamina buff. I've never experienced a synergy of buffs that was so noticeable before. I'm a freaking killing machine now! Too bad I can't try PvP out since I'm a vampire :)

    So, before it was 300 armor - protection against physical damage only, and armor also was capped at 50% (as any other resist or penetration)
    Now, it's 6% from every type of damage and without any softcaps on it, right?

    So huge racial changes after release are not good...

    Sure, but if I'll have a tank of another race all I'll want after seeing this is only: "Hey, where is my change race button?"

    This is not true, there is no armor bonus or damage reduction. Please go roll a Nord. I rolled a Nord since early access because they are better than every other race, I mean come on it is a Nord. Sure Orc, or Dark Elf, or even Imperial may have been a better DK, but i came to play the game. Never cared (or even noticed) armor buff as i ALWAYS had OC heavy armor as i crafted and enhanced every 4 levels. It went down a few hundred after the patch but still OC.

    But, and i know that some have a hard time reading a post when it is not in line with the complaint you have, there is NO damage reduction for me, none, that means zero for you mathematically inclined, or none/empty/not good/trash or whatever the rest of you can comprehend as meaning no benefit.

    If and only if they fix that it means we may get the benefit of another non-real broken mechanic that has no use other than something else for the whiners on this form to want nerfed. There is no benefit to Nord other than heath regen (i am sure you will be QQing on that next) and cold resistance, the later which also has never worked. But i would love to see more Nords running around, especially if they are killing knifeears (Fancy dressed puny ones, Dark Elves, are cool though).

    Yep, I believe you are correct Gunem I was definitely more squishy post patch than pre-patch. Feels like they stealth-nerfed this one on us and are just saying they boosted the mitigation to appease us. More testing required to confirm but first blush feels like we got snoogie-doozed on this one.

    Would certainly explain why it was not included in the patch notes.

    The Night's Silence Set bonuses were also changed. I crafted this set and found that the bonuses were not effecting me, can you please have your team look at this as it is something i really want to work! :)

    I didn't yet if I were a DK and chose a Redguard because I didn't like the Nords buffs, I wouldn't want to start all over. I would want to re-select my race.

    Maybe they will add in Race Change and Class Change to a Cash Shop.

    Actually @Polwight‌ the thread i linked in my previous comment me and a guildmate tested and found not only that the "reduction" was not present but that v4 armor vs v12 armor made no difference

    LOL I think ZOS has forgotten to add in more to their patch notes then they actually put in

    They pretty much made nords the best tank race.... so if you are a tank of a different race... well good luck rerolling! See you in 2 months when you finish your Nord toon... so they can nerf it back. :dizzy_face:
