After waiting until VR to even venture into Cyrodiil, my only two treks have been less than impressive. I'm part of a (mostly) dead campaign, as long as no one is around I'm fine with having to ride for 10 minutes (literally) just to finish a simple fetch quest.
Yet, it's never deserted. Every time I try to do anything in Cyrodill, other players are around and I'm dead in 2 seconds. I don't care to PvP, and I'm not spec'd for it. Anyone have a clue why ZOS insists we all PvP if you want achievements? And now with changing how campaigns work, no campaign will ever be deserted.

For those who detest PvP they will have to go without and make do with what PvE has to offer. The game developers are quite aware that there is a vast amount of people who will never play PvP yet ignored them in respect to skyshards and what ever else PvE related is obtained within this zone.
If those that play PvP chose not to do PvE, they still can enter PvE, drop into the dungeons, grab the skyshards, get lore books without ever having to do a single quest if this was their choice, but those not wanting to do PvP are forced to do without. This is unfair and totally lacking in fair play and balance.
Don't say "No one is forcing you, it is your decision". The decision is based on the fact that being killed by player characters is not our idea of fun. PvE and PvP should never be in the same game unless it is arena or duel style. It never works and never will.
It'd be nice if there was a pvp-consent flag for cyrodil. I have 0 interest in pvp, but I wouldn't mind being able to explore cyrodil without getting ganked.

Actually there are around 50 skill points in the game that do require one to do quests. And not only complete a quest per skill point but 3 or 4 quests chains per point. Group dungeon also require completion of quests and that is another 30 skill points that require questing. In order to get to VR rank where the real pvp takes place you are also have to complete the main quest . The Cyrodill skyshards give 15 skill points these do not require pvp just doing a delves with a risk of getting ganked, which is 0 risk in some campaigns .The pvp ranks give 50 points but most people do not have more than 15 ranks by now. These 50 point are the only permanent reward for pvp the rest is about 5 green vendor trash items per session. The pvp sets items cost more AP than the average player makes during an entire campaign and they are not that stellar either.
I think that it is ridiculous to request that pvp have absolutely no reward since you do not like it. In truth the only advantage a player that did both all the PVE content and ranked up to 50 will have 300+ skilll point while a PVE only player will have 250-260 which maybe allows you to do all crafting on one char and have an extra weapon with all the skills.

I did not say anything about PvP having no reward because I do not like it. Please read my post again. Neither did I mention 4 man dungeons in PvE, but public dungeons and lore books. No quests are required to gain these skyshards.
I do wish people would read a post thoroughly before replying.

For those who detest PvP they will have to go without and make do with what PvE has to offer. That is~250 of 300 skill points. The game developers are quite aware that there is a vast amount of people who will never play PvP yet ignored them in respect to skyshards and what ever else PvE related is obtained within this zone( A total of 65 skill points of only which about 30 are obtainable without a pretty damn huge time investment.).
If those that play PvP chose not to do PvE, they still can enter PvE, drop into the dungeons, grab the skyshards (Contradiction they chose not to do pve but then they do a bunch of it.) , get lore books without ever having to do a single quest if this was their choice, but those not wanting to do PvP are forced to do without.(What you say here is that people are forced to do PVE content to get skill points. Quest or no quest still PVE, and the main quest completion is a requirement for Veteran rank which is very important for pvp) This is unfair and totally lacking in fair play and balance.(Not at all, people that chose to do all the content in the game should have a slight advantage and at 300 skill points it is a very slight advantage. Also where exactlly is the competition between pure pvpers and PVEers and the majority that actually do both)
Don't say "No one is forcing you, it is your decision". The decision is based on the fact that being killed by player characters is not our idea of fun. (Some people don't think running about 150 PVE delves is fun either. ) PvE and PvP should never be in the same game unless it is arena or duel style. It never works and never will.(Works pretty damn well in most MMOS since most have some type of PVP outside of arenas or duels)

The OP can use magelight or detection potions himself. He is given all the tools he needs to get his skyshards in Cyrodiil, he just refuses to use said tools and expect Cyrodiil to be turned into a PVE zone.
There isnt really much to discuss or advice.

Your point being?
Are you still trying to argue your opinion is worth more than mine because you are a pver?
As i already said my money isnt worth less than yours.
