Vr exp from chests & Locales

Hey people,
I have been noticing that since 1.2.3 has hit I sometimes get vr exp from chests & locales (roughly 30k) but at other chests/locales I get nothing.
Now I wonder, is it working as intended that I am getting this experience? Or is it just bugged at certain chests/locales?

dennissomb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭I have been getting 0 xp from chests (vet1, vet 1 zone). Not sure if this is change or always been that way, never opened chest in VR on my vet 10 toon0
