We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Shadow Cloak

Mistoban
Mistoban
Soul Shriven
When this ability will be fix?
It should be a vanish but:

-if one of my weapon procs a dot I can't vanish, i use my magika ad appear after half a second
-If someone uses magic orb (the skill with detect hidden), I can't use my conceled weapon as backstab because I have the detected status on
-somethimes with no reason when I am detected, with no damage done or recived, I use it but get immediatelly visible (and I spend again magika)

I repeat: it should be a vanish, I shouldn't be detected for the full duration (less than 3 seconds) or till I use some other ability, but it need to be fixed.

Also I can't use the combo shadow cloak-->conceled weapon to stun someone because when I use the second ability I am often out of stealth!

Also you made a good medium set (Stigyan) but we need to use a weapon that procs poison (and it can't be changed).

So:
-I go near my enemy
-I use shadow cloak because don't want be detected
-I don't see magical orb even if it is up on my target
-I get detected
-I fail my conceled weapon (half damage and no 4 sec sun)
-my stigyan weapon procs a useless dot
-I can't use shadow cloak any more because it doesn't work

If I am out of combat and in stealth, then Shadow Cloak seems to work fine. However, if I am in combat and out of melee range, I have maybe a 50/50 chance for the mob to stop chasing / attacking me. I've reached a point where I rarely use it in combat, because it is not reliable at all. It is still a blessing for skipping packs of mobs.

Seems only fair to me, nightblades should suffer.
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt,
It lies behind stars and under hills,
    And empty holes it fills,
It comes first and follows after,
    Ends life, kills laughter.

Yeah I often have similar problems, not hitting with concealed weapon is extremely annoying.

I don't know what the problem is- it usually works in pve, but in pvp I think it has worked just once or twice. I just use invasion for a stun because it always works if I am in range.

Nightblades get no love from Zeni...didn't you hear? they buffed DKs and Sorcs and nerfed our siphoning strikes, a skill that already nerfs our damage.

So now its a skill with a nerf to go with our nerf so we can be nerfed some more...

    Official Zenimax◘™ Statement on nightblades:
"*** you, here have some more nerf ***"

On a serious note it really is fucken frustrating to hear that they nerfed a skill of ours without even fixing the *** that we have to deal with every fucken day. DKs got more love, Sorcs got some love to make up for there BE nerf, we got *** on

Can the people complaining about Nightblades actually bother to play the post-patch game? Instead of getting stamina regen when hidden it's on all of the time. Medium armor has been substantially buffed. So were bow and (some) melee weapon skills. The net result is that a stamina / medium armor NB is now really charged up and more powerful (by a lot) than before the patch.

It'd be one thing if the class had actually been weakened, but complaining about nothing being done when the class was dramatically *strengthened* is bizarre.

I don't think it makes MMOs frustrating, but it certainly makes posting on the forums frustrating. I doubt Zenimax is at their staff meeting going, "You know, that shadow cloak issue that keeps being brought up, we had some ideas to fix it... But that one guy on the forums brings up a valid point. Nightblades should suffer." With the meeting ending with all the employees cackling.

But there seems to be a serious issue with DoT and stealth that isn't quite clicking with developers. Or it's an intended side effect that no one wants to just say.

Our new reg stamina buff looks great. We've got also some good changes.

    But

The point is that our vanish skill (the only thing that make us different from any other classes because anyone can hide himself) is broken!
