Divines trait is BROKEN

Beefbroth
Beefbroth
Yesterday's patch broke the divines armor trait. I use The Tower mundus stone (increased max stamina). I have 2 pieces of armor with the divines trait. I remove both pieces, and my max stamina doesn't even change by 1. As far as I can tell, divines is totally useless now until another patch fixes it at some point in the future...

    Are you overcharged on stamina?

Good question, but no I'm not. My stamina value was in white (not overcharged).

Also keep in mind the character sheet is rarely correct. Might want to try hitting a mob with a stamina attack with and without the gear in question.

Also, the mundus stone may be broken. Have you tried a different one?

Just so I'm clear you do understand how Divines works yes? It doesn't add 5.5% (at blue quality) to your entire pool of Stamina, it adds 5.5% ONLY to the 5% (or static number like +100 Armor, which are a little different) that the Mundus stone gives you. The last time I checked that means the 5% Mundus stones, like Thief, with a full set of 7-Divines (just armor, no Shield) takes that 5% to 7.625%, meaning you only gain 2.625% value from the stone even with 7pc of Legendary gear.

I used to think those (3) were all +100 Health / Magicka / Stamina but it seems they're only +60 each. So you have (2) Blue armor pcs with Divines, that's +11% and should give you a non-overcharged value of 6 or 7 depending on how the game rounds. My guess is that your character screen is bugged out, which happens sometimes with big patches. I would bug report it just in case, to let ZoS know something is fishy. Since you are VR12, 1819 Stamina certainly isn't overcharged.

Before the patch, each piece only gave me 3 stamina, like you guessed, but it was something compared to now, which is nothing. I sent a ticket for the issue, in case my character screen is bugged. I don't know why it would bug on one stat though, while removing any piece of gear updates my stats instantly.

Edit: I am aware the divines bonus applies to the mundus ability only, not to the entire stat itself.

Try unequip items, then /reloadui. Check the total. Equip the items. Give it a min, and /reloadui and check the total.

That is the best way to know you are having a real issue and not just a display bug.

Little off topic, but I haven't been on since patch. Did they add armor dying? Your armor looks really colorful.

The patch before this one they made the veteran levels of armor have a blue-ish look to it, so no armor dyes yet.

For the record, I took off my belt and boots, exited the game completely, relogged, same stats.

eventually the mundus stone itself is the problem and not divines?

Divines was rubbish even when it was working. Each piece gives you 5/6% increase on a stat so lets take crit coz that's a common one. The thief gives 5% crit chance. Crit itself is at best + 50% damage so = 2.5% damage increase. 5% of 2.5% = 0.125% damage increase per item. There are far more effective traits.

Thats why i always go for 7/7 Infused ;)

I am running the thief. The divines Bonus doesnt really do anything for it. its not that much difference between 52% or 54%(at 7 div).
