I love the patch notes! Seams great!

Also the feedback from our US friends are good!

That a patch needs fixing after is normal and I only base this on patch notes and how it works in game, after fixing.

My class got some nice fixed but this junk weapons and armor in boxes and barrels is just too much. It's one thing to have to work around bugs and imbalances at every turn... It's another for them to intentionally introduce moment by moment annoyances into the game. It's just too much.

Billing is up in the next few days. This might be the straw. I don't find constant inventory management fun on any level.

Let me get this straight. Your class gets fixes that you consider good, but because of a feature that was loudly presented by Zenimax to be in game, that you could interact with your environment by exactly what they just introduced......you quitting the game?

Is zenimax forcing you to pick everything up? When I look around, in a container, I can CHOOSE to pick anything. Cant you?

This new addition of crap makes autoloot entirely unusable, and without autoloot I spend far too long having to pick out the one or two things out of crates and barrels that are useful now.

Why in God's name did anyone in ZOS think this feature was needed? I've never seen a single request for more white crap of zero value.

I'll let you know when the EU servers get it. They have said maintenance is complete and the servers are back up, but nothing downloads when you open up the patcher, and when you try to log into the game it redirects you back to the patcher to download nothing again.

I already found autoloot on containers to be problematic; it is unfortunate to know they are now even more cluttered up.

I wouldn't call it a major content update, as the new content is not major, it is not even big. It is more like a regular content update.

Besides that, it seems to be nice.

The ninja nerfs and alterior motive "additions" are getting a little annoying.

I would rather ZOS just be open and unapologietic if they want to change something.

    Totally Honest Patch Notes:
    • Added more Craglorn PvE content while there is still a big hole in the center of the map where the imperial city should be.
    • Decreased the rate vital provisioning materials and motifs will spawn by diluting random containers with useless garbage.
    • Fixed an issue where you could actually use autoloot to get said materials by quickly filling up your inventory with random trash.
    • Buffed a few useless morphs of skills that were only good in PvE in the first place.
    • Changed or removed many of the crafted set piece bonuses so that they will be even less desirable than the same 3 dropped sets everyone uses.
    • Did a whole bunch of other things behind the scenes that affect your character and gameplay but didn't bother to include them in these patch notes.

I think I like the Junk items, it kind of cements the fact that this is not just another run through, loot all boring mmo. I have been playing since beta and I love this game more and more every week.
I have had a few friends quit but I sort of expected that from these friends I knew they wouldn't be open to an mmo thats not a wow clone.
All my mates that are ES fans have come to terms with the stupid VR quests and think the game is awesome.

Maybe it was another attempt by ZOS to combat the problem with bots farming containers.

If it was, then it is once again another completely arse-end way of going about it.

They shouldn't worry about bots so much now. Since a chunk players really hated the idea.

I have to say it's a brilliant move to get rid of bots. Gone are the players, gone are the bots.

They should start worrying about ROI.

You missed out a vital option: "still downloading the damn thing at < dialup speed"
    US server, btw, not EU
    vOv

Edit: more than 24h to get patched. I don't see that they've broken anything major in the process, but so far what I've seen is 'meh'. Skill bar seems to be cutting out more often now, esc/esc still fixes that, temporarily.
Less fluff, more fixes next time, please.

I run on a mac too. Crash seems to happen due to the group issue though. But I do admit the constant unknown error is annoying as hell.

Didn't vote because I haven't really played. This patch has totally borked all addons and my UI and appears to have blindsided the addon creators as there are no fixes up (usually they are there before or right as the patch lands and most work regardless after the patch anyway).

Addons wouldn't be that big of a deal but since I rely on so many addons to provide me with the functionality that should have been part of the released game I have little desire to go back to playing without them.

It's called autoloot, friend. Those of us who do every craft often use it. And we loot every container we come across.

Yes, the class fixed are great, but who cares it you have to sort trash out of your inventory every 15 mins while questing. It was already borderline unmanageable before. This is just too much. There's nothing fun about spending most of your game time picking thru crap.

Lots of feedback there alone. SO ZOS decide to plough on with it.

My sub runs out soon. Not played for over two weeks due to other things. But may just try getting last few levels of my main done and leave the game for a bit. See if the devs come to their senses, and realise, they are pushing for things in game, that going off the polls, more than half don't get.

CC limits are a slap in the face. This makes PVE, especially Solo PVE worthless and hard. It makes the game boring, and forces you to Group even for content that should be solo content.

This would be less of a problem if we had a proper 1-9 skill bar we would expect from a AAA MMORPG.

This game is becoming a nightmare for solo players.

Feeling quite positive at the moment (other than several add-ons not working). Not yet taken advantage of haste improvements, but my Nord Bow Nightblade is finding VR6 content a little easier. Small sample so far, due to only having done a delve containing Daedra. My gut feeling is that armour is doing more damage reduction, as Fighter's Guild Protection spell looks to significantly reduce damage now. Having veteran ingredients drop in veteran zones is a long awaited fix (ok, not secondary ingredients yet, but you can buy them from grocers). Not much worried about the new white item spam, as Dustman Add-on is set for me to delete 0g whites on acquire.

It is amazing how paralysing it is when you first load up and have to play without Add-ons. Makes you realise quite how much better life is with them (particularly for me stuff that handles autosell, marking stuff as junk intelligently, destroying worthless stuff and marking weapons/armour that I need to research), and how poor the default interface is. A real shame guild bank still doesn't autostack, though.

I would personaly expect 2 slots only as is tradition in TES games ;-)

Then you haven't been paying enough attention. People asked for a more interactable world, similar to the single player TES where we could pick up every bottle, basket and knife. And we got it. The problem? Nobody expected they'd put these items in loot tables of every container. We thought we'd be able to take them from weapon racks or straight off the table, like we always could take food or drink. The concept is sound. The implementation is less than fortunate.

Personally I don't mind. I never autoloot, so they won't clutter my inventory.

I didn't have many issues except for all the useless white crap in the containers.

But, the half a dozen guildies who had their framerates drop to <5 whenever they entered a building or a trial made for a rather difficult night.

I have a beast of a machine and can run on Ultra settings at 99 FPS. Even my game dropped to around 50 FPS when I entered most of the buildings.
