"Long Shots: This passive ability’s bonus is now applied to enemies greater than 40 meters away."

    Actually, what they meant to say is that previously long shots past 40 meters weren't working as intended.

    The fix now includes anything from 10 meters to the max. range, which with buffs can exceed 40 meters.

    Snipe got a huge buff bud. I can get it off twice now before an npc comes near me. You should be more worried about the cc nerf. It's going to be the next big thing to cause folks to rage quit.

    Snipe has a range of 41m by default in Cyrodiil. There's a weapon set that increases this by 4m. Regardless, what on Earth are you complaining about? Bows got all around buffed.

    He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

    This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    I'm gonna have to agree with those that disagree, how is applying more damage to a target that is farther away NOT a good thing?

    I don't think the op realized that this is adding to the current passive, not replacing.

    That's the problems with coders. They are usually horrible with making things short, understandable, and getting to the point.

    This nerf was NEEDED.

    The real nerf needed was Venom Arrow stunning targets who aren't casting.

    a minority opinion. You must have never played VR content. Trash mobs are already close enough to players. They don't need additional buffs. You want every fight to be difficult, go play dark souls.

    Yes. Thank you to everyone who responded, and to Ruze specifically. I did misunderstand the patch note, and thought long shots would only apply the buff to targets beyond 40 meters and not that it meant it would now include targets beyond 40 meters.
