Should ZOS reimburse game time for unexpected maintenance extensions?

Try playing Hearthstone. Maintenance 12 hours a week for a frikkin card game, brought to you by good ole Bliz. I don't see you cry babies rushing to pay them extra money when maintenance ends early, like last week when it only lasted an hour.

It's back up. Gonna find me a golden tick... er... Imperial Motif. Nice to know those actually are the rarest, even though I have found 2 of them, while never finding a Daedric or Primal so far.

unless it is more than 12 hours, and lands during prime time for the time zone that server is meant for, nope. Ive seen mmos have 2 days of downtime in the past, with no reimbursement.

Hardly.

But once you've done the normal stuff in life that adults do, like fight in a war, graduate college, work 50-60 hours a week, be a care giver for a loved one a couple of times through cancer, be a parent and so forth - the word "egregious" means something a lot different than it apparently does to some of the folks here.

And in point of fact, when you branch out from video games, and do things like get a membership to a country club (on your own dime, I mean, not your parents), and so have green fees gratis thanks to your monthly payment - and go off on a rant because they had to work on the greens once a week and so close the course....you are going to feel like a pretty big goof looking back on today.

In other words, "egregious", when applied to video game, makes a person look like a kid without any sense of perspective on life whatever.

No. I know people lose their minds when you mention the words "subscription fee", but $15 per month is cheap by any standard.

And I say that as a man with a crippling illness on a fixed income.

Seriously, if you're in a position to utilize disposable income for an internet connection then it should be relatively simple to budget for a $15 subscription fee. I mean, cutting 3 or 4 espressos out of your month should more than cover it.

Since it looks like I'll be off the game for the whole day, I voted yay. This download is slow and nowhere near done.

I'm thinking a AAA game would have made a media disc of some sort available by overnight delivery or at least a deposit to OneDrive. If it's going to be mega-Gigs and all.
