This may be a sign of you having a very crappy wireless connection. it is one of the main reason for archive corruption. Try looking into it.
Thanks but nope. :-) I use ethernet cable when doing large DLs
Not common for archive corruption to take place with an ethernet connection. Try disabling your wireless while the ethernet is plugged in, you may still have it open despite the cord being in.
