Bow Range Issue - Patch Notes

In the latest patch notes you have decreased the range of the Snipe ability with a bow however in the same statement you have stated that the passive bonus will only work when the bow is used over that new maximum range.

Long Shots: This passive ability’s bonus is now applied to enemies greater than 40 meters away.

Snipe: Reduced the cast time for this ability from 3 seconds to 2 seconds. We also reduced the range for this ability from 40 meters to 35 meters, and reduced the minimum range from 20 meters to 10 meters.

How exactly are we suppose to gain the Long Shot passive bonus?????

    No clue.
    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Agreed. my guess is that in some situations in Cyrodiil, with passives you could get attacks longer than 40m in which Long Shots was bugged and not applying correctly. My guess is this is a fix/buff.

    Lol my god these people and their longshot complaints don't even know their own skill, this cracks me up, the passive adds more damage to a skill the further away your target is, before hand it capped out at 40m now it works for 40m+ and to balance out the passive in pvp use they lowered the max range by 5m.

    What gets me is that he claims it states it's 'will only work' then quotes a patch note that says no such thing. When did reading become so difficult?

    due to to many liberal ideas being force feed to our kids. they spend all there time and effort pampering and indoctrinating our kids to worry about teaching them life skills.

    In the past, the passive that gave up to +12% bonus damage against distant targets stopped working when the target was over 40 meters away.

    When you had the armor (Eagle Eye Set, + 4 meters range), and the PVP skill (Propelling Shield IV, + 7 meters range) you could hit targets at 51 meters away and you got no damage bonus.

    Now Focused Aim (Snipe Morf), with Flawless Dawnbreaker +14% weapon damage and haste from Medium armor now working on bows. Bows are now fun in PVP.
