Were Night blade tanks really using Shadow Barrier as an armor boost? At only four seconds it didn't seem like it would be viable to me. I was running Immovable on my NB, though it was eating up a lot of Stamina.Zenimaxx Balancing Team: YOU ARE LIARS!
You announced pushes for Nightblade - instead youre pushing all other classes like mad - even DK. And just by the way DESTROY Nightblade-Tanking entirely: Stealth activates our core-piece armor/res-buff and now we cant activate it or we instantly lose aggro. Whats the point of shadow barrier now in PvE, if you cant have it as a tank? Take your damned hands off the tanks and stop catering only to mainstream dps!
I permanently lost all trust in you. After 2 big patches you convinced me, that you will do it like all the other MMO - balancing to satisfy the biggest lobby.
P.S. Please delete your first "Battlemaster's Corner" post "The Shadow Knight" since it is a big mockery now.

Solar flare 1.3 casting instead of 1.5 and scaling propperly at darkflare dmg wise !! Thats exactly
Some good stuff in there.
"Rewards from the Imperial Edition treasure maps now scale to Veteran Ranks."
Good thing I threw those on an Alt. Time to go digging.

Is this better than the 2% stamina regen we got at level 1?
they've all given VR level gear
they've all given VR level gear
Were you already in a VR area when opened or below that?
I thought they were already leveled to the area, if so, they would level to the VR area you are in when opened.
Otherwise they weren't leveled at all and basic RNG determined loot. Maybe they added additional RNG for higher leveled zones.
Hopefully the also leveled the chests themselves to areas again. I haven't seen but one intermediate chest in Bangkorai and Coldharbor in the last two weeks, only simple ones. Either they nuked em from Bots or the Bots are still eating them all from underground.

What does this mean? Is it a fix because food and other buffs were not considered or does it mean that it can only be used at 35% magicka?

I think there was a bug where it couldn't be cast when you were below 35% max magicka even tho you had enough magicka to cast it. Thats how I read it...

What happened to the Haste affecting ranged weapon fix? Wasn't that a part of the 1.2.3 patch on the PTS? Kind of seems pointless to buff a morph of Haste when the ability still doesn't work correctly.
Also, did you guys fix the issue of NB own dots taking us out of Dark Cloak? I didn't see that in there either and does Dark Cloak actually remove dots now?
I swear I read these changes somewhere on the PTS patch notes, but they are not in the official release. Hopefully an oversight?
PS: Can't wait to try out the .5 sec weapon swap!
I may be wrong but weren't they going to add the armor dyeing this update? Like most of the changes in this update. The weapon/armor pick up would be better if there was a chance to get green or higher gear....as of right now it is VERY underwhelming. Count me as on person who will not bother picking that stuff up....for now.

Haste affecting ranged weapons fix is in there, just not under nightblade changes because Haste was never broken. Attack speed for bows was broken, and if I remember correctly there's a bulletpoint under the general combat fixes that stated "Attack speed now works properly with all weapons."
This is the Haste fix you are looking for. But I have a feeling you'll be disappointed when you actually try it and notice how little of a dps increase the ability is. At least that's what happened to me. Saving all reservations for when I can actually test changes on my character and not a crappy PTS template, though.

Nightblades still need more balancing, stamina builds including heavy armour also needs some definite looking into, so come patch day and nothing has really changed infact I've experienced almost all of this content in the PTS already, it's a little depressing.
Really? Have you never been on a PTS before?
When they say that the patch notes there aren't final, it just means they're leaving room for additional tweaks and fixes as people test (that's what you were supposed to be doing, remember?) the new content. It doesn't mean that they have a secret dungeon that no one gets to play until the content update is released.
Nightblades are still not okay and there is plenty of reasons why none of the "fixes" to nightblade actually resolved anything.
1# Casting dots still snaps us out of stealth
2#Path of Darkness is still useless as well as blur, aspect of terror, shadow image etc.
3#Sihponing strikes still doesn't provide the amount of sustainability of the sorcs and DK's and theirs doesn't sacrifice 10% damage.
4#The best potential DPS build is still the light armour staff using DOT build

Aspect of Terror isnt useless, rightly use its one of the strongest skills in PvP.
Well, for PvE its not so good i think, but PvE is not all
We just need a bit love based of stealth, nothing else.
So.. Like faster Sneak Speed.
Also shadowcloak needs a damn fix, i hate it to pop out next to an another Player if they use Magiclight.

Yeah, no kidding. Every day I open nearly 400 containers (3 sweeps throughout the day in all VR1-10 zones). and every day I get several motifs and blue recipes but I have never seen a purple recipe. I have been doing this for over 2 weeks. In-game I've seen them sell for over 1 million gold and if you look online there's forums where people are offering up to 4 MILLION gold for the Honey Brittle recipe (US servers, in EU it's only about 400k for some reason).
I really hope they fix the drop rate of these recipes. As a provisioner I'd love to be able to make those VR5 food recipes at some point.
Purple recipes drop in vet dungeon, regular group dungeons and public dungeons (the ones with the group challenges for a skill point)
