It's not that is wrong to be upset because maintenance was extended. It's just that it's a little silly to get angry over something that is out of your control. Surely there are other things that can occupy your time while you wait, since ESO is not really something that is life sustaining. You can do without for a few hours.4

honestly i am glad we are seeing fixes and changes. and i encourage zenimax to take as long as needed.3 -

DrOrpheus✭✭I love how when games take extended maintenance periods everyone gets all pissy and butt hurt about it. Does is suck? Sure, but we dont need hundreds of threads started up being upset over it or polls that ask if we should be reimbursed our time. MMOs do this quite often, it just happens to be a bad day and is taking longer than expected, but better they take longer and everything be at quality, than for it to take no time and everything be broken.2 -

I don't know man, I keep paying taxes, and still, I don't like the direction the government has taken the country. What can I do about it? I keep voting and I still don't see any change. Oh well, such is life. :P

Frankly, though I find this ridiculously long maintenance time (and, undoubtedly, what will be the long download time for Update 2) annoying, I'm really very happy that they've been so good about updating us and giving new ETAs. They're keeping us in the loop and letting us know what to expect. That's really all one could reasonably ask for.3

✭✭✭✭✭here in my small town they had a small rollercoaster type thing added to the normal town festival and it was taken offline and worked on for a few days! when it got back running again they tested it out and 3 people were killed as it broke going over the last highend part, they fell to thier deaths.
