ZoS. Even though this has been the longest downtime ever. I'm glad to see that you are now providing ETAs as requested. This is very considerate of your customer base and I would like to thank you for this improvement in customer service.

Thank you,

And yet (as predicted) the forums are blowing up when they don't meet the ETAs. People are always going to look for reasons to complain. Regardless of what information ZO provides, players will take issue with it.

sure, we pay them, and we need to praise them, sounds similar to something else... LOL

agreed, better than waiting for 8 hours with no word on if servers will be up by hour 9.

Read some of my posts... I've been a rather large critic of ZoS. I have been asking them to start giving ETAs out of consideration for their clients for a while. They have started doing so, so I've thanked them for it.

ETA is an ETA, sometimes you're wrong, and they made another post extending their ETA. No one's perfect, but they're at least trying now, which is the point.

    /100% agree.

I just want to say I have no problem with ZOS taking the servers down. If there is something they need to fix, it is fine with me personally.

However, I would like to say that communication goes a long way.

When ZOS does bring the servers down like this, one of those guys should take a minute, just to post some kind of nice information. They are now doing that.

Anyway, have a nice day. :)

Fortunately, I'm at work now and can only bask in the misery of others who are stewing in their self-righteous butthurt. Schadenfreude at its finest.
Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.

    Thank you,

Good attitude to have. The future will only get better as the game evolves and personally I can't stand a whiner. Sure we can have opinions and express them but there is a difference between being childish and an adult.

I would not complain at all if they sent me a check in the mail for everything I have spent on this game minus subscription fees with a cancellation notice for my account. I think I have logged in one in the past two weeks I just wish developers of MMO's would design everything in such games for multiplayer...that would fix a lot of ESO problems if they just would have made it a real MMO with real MMO group functions for quest updates in group...
