So that's your choice. Either wait out the first year before you start of jump right in and have stuff like this happen.
Na... its called internal testing. At my place of work, I have internal test beds/environment to imitate our prod environment - I test all changes there, so when I need to implement into prod, I can follow my tested script and hardly ever have major issues ;-)
Difference between your test environ and production isn't several hundred thousand to a million people all trying to log in and break it at once is it?
Most test environments just simply do not provide the same conditions live does.

Well, in the patch forum they posted a note four hours ago saying four more hours - so hopefully any moment now.
Idk but this just made me really sad.Cyberwolffe wrote: »I was hoping that the servers would come back up before I have to leave for work so that I could start the patch download and be ready to play when I get home after work. Guess I'll just have to let it download while I'm sleeping then I can play in the morning.

So are we getting reimbursed a day of gametime for this update? 4 hours is one thing, over 8 is another.

This was posted over 4 hours ago though so I really do feel as though an update is in order...

if you install teamviewer and give me your id and pass, I can remotely get the download started for ya!
lol.
The money isn't the issue. 8 hours of game time isn't worth anything. 8+ hours of MY time, however, is worth a hell of a lot more.
