and is making money off it, do i say anything?
i mean it would suck for the devs to put work into things then someone else uses it for their own gain

    I would wait till Zenimax responds, but I definitely think what their doing is wrong .

    again i agree, i even posted an image from an ESO site source on the same page to look at the comparison and it is indeed the same nord

    Just to be certain I understand:
    Some local, Real Life event in your area used a art asset from ESO (screenshot, poster, whatever) as part of thier tickets.

    I highly doubt the TOS covers things that happen outside of the game.
    It does clearly say we have to report exploits and bugs. But it does not even demand that we report bug users or other exploiters.
    It is something we can do, but do not need too. Your case propably also falls under the "nothing forces you to do it, nothing forces you not to do it".

    but the thing is the whole thing is basicly text put on top of ESO's image.

    Yes, say something, and this forum is a as good a place as any. Or send a PM to one of the mods with details. If one of the mods gets ahold of it, hopefully they'll refer it to legal. There's always the chance this organization got permission to use the images, but as someone who wasn't able to get permission for something I wanted to do, believe me, it makes a difference.

    The event in question, does it have anything to do with ESO?
    If not I would just leave it alone.

    Some local event, advertised on FB, just using a picture from the game, and you really feel a compulsion to rat them out? Like you really think you're saving Zeni from some terrible damage from a local function using a picture of a Nord?

    Sheesh. This is why we have too many lawyers in the world. Mind your own business.

    Yah those add on authors should all quit their add on authoring jobs. Unless of course they do it because they enjoy it?

    Wait a minute...that sounds like they are getting free entertainment from ZoS! Those add on authors are profiting from the work of ZoS!
