That's your problem. And if the inability to play a game at a particular hour of the morning is that big an issue for you, you really need to understand that you're in the minority here. Most people have work (or are still sleeping) at this hour.
They announced yesterday that the scheduled maintenance would not occur and that it was being moved to today. You were given plenty of advance notice. And we're getting a major content update today, so do you really want them to delay that?----

✭Laughs --- this not a standard maintenance. They are installing New Content Update Two (See patch notes).
ZOS did post the info about the install 24 Hours BEFORE they took the servers offline, plus they are skipping the other days because this will take a while to install this new content update.0 -

If they want to change it, then they need to update that thread. The reason I started this thread was not because I minded the maintenance time, but it's matching with what they told us. I know the majority of player play at a later time, thats still does not make it OK to keep changing the time. They might have announced the time 24hr ago that they will do a maintenance. But I didnt know that and according to their post of maintence time thread. This is unannounced. You didn't need to search for this or anything. When the maintenance yesterday was cancelled, the announcement was posted at the top of the screen (where it is right now) in every forum.
It makes no sense to update the sticky about scheduled maintenance times, because this isn't a regularly scheduled maintenance. They aren't permanently shifting the time; this is a one-time switch to accommodate the 1.2 update. It's still a moot point, because if you checked that thread, you still would have had to scroll past the giant, colorful announcement banner.----

kitsinni✭✭✭✭✭They announced it yesterday on reddit which is their prefered method of communication. Many many hours after reddit they posted something after the maint was supposed to happen yesterday saying it wouldn't happen. Then much later that night they posted something saying it would happen today but not a post just a banner at the top. When they took down the servers today reddit, facebook, twiiter were all posted .. then after everything they say something here. They really don't care about these forums at all.1

Downtime will happen with or without notice for unknown length of time to do either to a stated goal or nothing at all. It was about 9:00 about an hour after maint was supposed to happend before they even updated that it would be skipped yesterday, and at that time there was no mention of a patch today.1 -

No one gives a crap about what they are legally obligated to do. Why do people keep talking about their legal obligations. They are a business with a shrinking base what their legal obligation are make no real difference. Attracting and keeping customers is much more important.1 -
