Listen, I've been as critical as anyone about the overall lack of communication from Zos. What was shared on reddit though was specifically stated as not being official, not set in stone, just a possible most likely scenario.
If you don't want to go to reddit (or wherever) to find out unofficial info then don't. It will trickle over to the official forums through players anyways (like today). Giving Zos an ultimatum and demanding all info, official or not, be here on the forums will only result in less information for all of us.

✭It would be nice there was a single-point information portal on this website, that shows the information in all forum posts, reddit submissions, twitter feeds, facebook posts, blog entries, articles, etc.
And then, if any developer, producer, HR rep, community rep, whatever, says something, we can all catch it at the same time.
I don't think they need to post everything to the forums here, because I don't feel they are any more official or necessary than their facebook profile or reddit page or twitter feeds (even if I don't access any of those other things). XBOX NARuze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.2 -

Ecco✭✭✭Reddit is where I always go *first* to get unsanitized information from knowledgeable sources. It's not 100% reliable, in the way that Wikipedia is not 100% reliable, but it's usually the best starting point for overview-level treatment of the things you're interested in. After reading there, I can post specific threads here to see if there is official word.
That said, it's ludicrous that ZoS would post anything official on Reddit and not here. Did that really happen? Or is this just a hypothetical complaint?0 -

There is a reason for not doing that. In general, it gives the impression that information was leaked early and/or exclusively. It is a zero cost way to pump up interest in something that would otherwise might have been viewed as *** hum. Also, it is often used as a device to reward or pay off certain followers with page views and subscribers. Which leads to more traffic for certain web sites or viewers on twitch or youtube. Which leads to more money for owners of said web sites or video channels. In general, of course.
