as well as true. I know people use LOL for disagree since we don't have one of those, but when used appropriately I think it's a good thing.

And I didn't see any admin comments helping people, yet they would comment in threads they closed. It was like that for 2 days after the patch.

i think this thread is complete self indulgence tbh.

i'm pretty critical of the game as it is now.. but my first few weeks were very enjoyable indeed. I think most folk feel that way. so posting a thread thats a glib jibe at folk who have became critical now as if they have always been so is completely pointless at best and self indulgent attention seeking at worst imo.

Seeing as she plays the game with interest and at a pace similar to mine, I imagine that's still a ways off. Hey, if I count my beta access I'll be approaching my 1 year anniversary with the game next month.

Am i the only one why hasn't been 2 shot by a mudcrab in VR content? I wouldn't even think mudcrabs or skeevers were all that bad except all the complaining on the forums about them. And no I'm not a tank.

Maybe i just haven't hit the buff mudcrab waiting for everyone when they step off the boat in VR content.

Ignore the doom sayers OP. Misery loves company. Glad you're having fun. So am I and I have one maxed and one almost maxed toon. Don't form opinions based on what your read here (like many have before they have even reached vet content) By the time you rach vet the game will probably be changed for the better in many ways

People take video games way too seriously nowadays. My generation should not have used them as baby sitters. Instead of understanding they are supposed to be relaxing and fun. They wrap themselves in their game so tightly that they can't let a "I'm enjoying myself" post pass without having to make a negative comment.

People post a lot of threads on any number of subjects on this forum. As Slash pointed out, I posted a thread on Day 1 praising the female walk animation (because, as a woman, I thought the walk/run animation in Skyrim was pretty bad). Today I posted a thread raising the quality of writing and the depth of NPC development in the game. How these posts were basically the same thread is a leap of twisted logic that I'm not going to try to repeat or understand.

So you can get upset with me for not rushing through the game in eight weeks just to get to VET levels so I can come here and complain about what I think is wrong with the game - and the challenging the devs to change the game so it fits my needs.

But then which of us in this conversation is self-indulgent?

The self-indulgent part is where you feel the need to post of TWO threads about how you are enjoying the game after just a few days. That's great, we're glad you're enjoying the game! But we also don't care. As Blackwidow stated, when people who barely play the game post up threads about how they are quitting, it's the same. Nobody cares.

The fact that you posted two separate threads about how much you love the game within days of each other, makes it seem that you just want attention. Then your username "Irishgirlgamer" makes it seem like you're just one of those "Look at me, I'm a cool gamer gurl!!!1!!" types. My girlfriend is a hardcore gamer. Yet she never tries to flaunt that she's a girl in games.

No, it's actually not the same thing.

Let's try this again. Day 1: I posted a thread complimenting a walk animation. Really, how many months do I need to play this game before I'm sufficient qualified to speak to the quality of an animation that I see almost every minute I'm in the game?

Day 9: I've racked up over 40 hours. I'm at level 9. I'm enjoying the way the quests are written and the basic dialog design principles that been implemented by the devs in this game. I don't know how many quests there are on KR, but I did them all. I walked around, I listened to the dialog. I talked to the NPCs.

Are there people who have played more? You bet. I'm sure you're one of them. Feel free to share your opinion on the game. Wait ... looks like you already have.

Really, what does this post actually say? That I enjoyed my experience with this game so far. It doesn't say the game is perfect, it just says I like this element.

I think the OP would quit sooner because of all the Negative Nancys posting here than because of game issues. But seeing how she is enjoying it, I am not afraid of that.

But seriously, this "Oh look, she is having fun, let's try and ruin it" attitude is something I will never understand. If you see a child being happy for getting a pet, do you also go there and tell them "Don't be so happy , in a couple of years your pet will be dead anyway"?
