Am I doing it right?
Nice to see you're still around, Ragnar.
At level 8 after 9 days, I think you'll have fun for quite a while at that pace (that kind of sounds like a jab, but it's not).
P.S. Not everyone hates vet content. Although I guess around here that's the equivalent of liking peanut butter on pickles.

Just another quick note to tell you I'm still not regretting my purchase of your game, or the Imperial upgrade and Explorer's Pack. Last night saw me finally complete all the achievements on Khenarthi's Roost and so now I'm on my way to Auridon.
I'm honestly amazed by the amount and quality of the content and writing which has been integrated into this game. I love how some NPCs are just there to talk to, interact with, or listen to - adding a level of depth that's missing from other games. The three mercenaries in Mistral, for example. The Dominion representatives spreading their propaganda to the residents of Khenarthi's Roost. Nervous lovers and sneaky skooma dealers. The list goes on and on. There's a wealth of immersive material here that would go unnoticed if I just rushed through the game to get to the next level.
The best thing is that many of these conversations have nothing to do with me, the player. In fact, I love how the world isn't about ME. It's about them, because this is their home. And when I finally do save Khenarthi's Roost, and some of the NPCs start talking about me, it seems more immersive, more natural - and more of an accomplishment.
I can tell that someone put a lot of work into all of this content. I just thought you ought to know it's appreciated!
Me.
P.S. My dual-wielding Nightblade is still holding her own. In fact, I opened the skills menu before logging off last night and noticed I had 3 skill points I still hadn't committed yet, so at Level 8, I'm not underpowered. Of course, towards the end, my enemies were several levels beneath me ...

I miss that feeling that was there in open beta. There was so much more of community atmosphere because gold, leveling, gear, ect. just didn't matter. We weren't spread out all over the map because of levels either. Also, on the last day of the beta, some of us gathered in a town and started playing instruments, and guards actually stopped by, watching us for some time, then returned to their duty, it was awesome!
Agreed!@IrishGirlGamer more power to ya you. I actually really liked Khenarthi's Roost as well (many didn't). Enjoy the *** out of levels 1-50 as they are the best.I miss that feeling that was there in open beta. I hope at some point Zos will look into creating some weekly/monthly events in game that bring people and guilds together. Not necessarily reward related but just something interesting everybody would want to check out.
It's my favorite of the starting islands. I liked it way more than either Stros M'Kai and Betnikh (Daggerfall starting zones) or Bleakrock Isle and Bal Foyen (Ebonheart starting zones).@IrishGirlGamer more power to ya you. I actually really liked Khenarthi's Roost as well (many didn't).

I love how people equate "I'm enjoying this game" threads with "You guys are all stupid, this game is perfect" threads. The 2 are not the same thing by any stretch of the imagination, and confusing them is, frankly, stupid.I love how all of these "You guys are all stupid, this game is perfect" threads are started by people under level 20. I'm not trying to be "that guy", but at such a low level, I hardly think you've played enough of the game to make such a claim. This applies to ALL games, not just ESO.

It's like watching a car speed towards the edge of the cliff. You can see the VR coming...but there's nothing you can do to help them.
P.S. We didn't unsub after 9 days either XD give it a little time and you'll join us.
Deciding whether to roll an alt or continue in vet levels can be a tough decision. It's like watching a car speed towards the edge of the cliff. You can see the VR coming...but there's nothing you can do to help them.
