Does this game bring out the rage quitter in you?

It's the first mmo that I've quit over problems and lack of interest, yes. But somehow I'm still subbed waiting for a miracle that probably won't happen.

Sadly, based on what I see in the forums, there's a lot more people 'raging' than there are 'quitting'.

If you're going to 'rage quit'. Please... follow-through. Thanks!

Quick Siphon (morph of Force Siphon, last skill in resto line) gives you and your allies health when you attack the NPC it's been cast on. It lasts for 20 seconds and is cast instantly. Spirit Siphon works as well, and it restores Magicka on attack, but it has a cast time. You can use this in addition to Degeneration and get some nice healing. I don't know the math sorry, I just know from my experience it works well.

I went ahead and bought them both. Restores 100% of weapon damage on every hit, is that right? Sorry i'm not going to get to play much for the rest of this week due to work commitments.

The thing is, I can see me not using my shield ever again, unless a guild mate needs me to tank a non-vet dungeon for them. I've just about found a way to make sword and shield work, mutagen before pull, then on a 3 mob pull, degeneration on everything i'm fighting, maybe vampire's bane on one too, then just tank them. Honour the dead, Repentance to keep me going and if things get bad, there's the Remembrance ultimate.

But with this skill, why bother? Apparently holding a stick out in front of your body blocks an incoming volley of arrows nearly as well as a shield that covers most of your torso. The healing stick does way more damage , is ranged, and yes it allows you to heal more and restore power too.

    Edit - armour with staff, 5L 2H = 968
with shield, and ransack buff = 1719 (numbers turn orange, indicates softcap)

So that's something. and the ability to move a bit quicker when blocking (battlefield mobility). Still seems like a poor trade.

Edit 2 - I need to rethink my policy on honour the dead. Every death I had, I had more magika available, but i'd been trying to only heal when low enough on health to proc the power return. Then one lag spike/bit of bad luck and you died needlessly.

I guess this is my problem all over, trying to make underpowered skill lines work.

I'm guilty of not experimenting enough with new skills, I had a total of 18 active skills and was worried about the cost of respeccing. It seems I've missed a lot of skyshards though. Still I don't see why it should cost so much to respec, since it's so easy to end up with a nonviable build at VR. This is just going to tempt people to use gold sellers.

Some of us are so bored of VR levelling so we've gone to Auridon to hold different kind of contests for the low level players. And little things like this prevents me from boredquitting.

Vr levelling is simply too much frustration for very little rewards.

Had my first last night after fighting the blood omen in VR2 stormhaven (ghost that summons 4 wisps at the start of the fight and throws red circles of doom all over the place.) I literally could NOT beat it. Ended up having to group.

Does this game bring out the rage quitter in you?

No, just the normal reasons for quitting. No rage, just disappointment.

disappointment to say the least, I am tired of dieing, and not being able to see
what is killing me. Tech support is way off.

I don't have a rage quitter in me, I usually stop playing a game after calmly thinking about it, never in a rage, usually when I'm done with the game, and it no longer feels fun.

    But never angrily.

I just did Vox at VR7 last night and I guess I must have gotten really lucky with timing on stuns or something because I thought she was insanely easy compared to the Plague Bringer quest boss.

I rage a lot at at some of the solo bosses, but any rage quits last for typically five minutes before Im back to bashing my face against whatever made me mad. Can't stand to leave something standing in my way, so I will try everything 10 times until I force it t work for me.

If you feel the urge to rage quit....I would take an introspect look at yourself. Its a videogame, a meaningless distraction. Its like getting angry at a choose your own adventure.

Rage does not come natural to me as a person, but I would say that this game has had its moments of almost bringing it out.

Feelings of frustration, humiliation, punishment for not choosing the "right" class or build, stress instead of fun, yes. Rage, well, no. And quitting, no, not yet.

I came into this game at launch, knowing that there would be bugs and problems. I had no idea it would be this bad, but I was prepared for a somewhat rough ride. So far, it hasn't been bad enough to make me quit.
