Fixing Vet content

The Veteran content in this game needs a significant overhaul. It is an absolute nightmare to work through all of that content given how absurdly difficult it is. Generic mob three packs are a death trap for many players, especially if there is a healer involved. Heck, packs of two VR9 mobs in Malabal Tor were causing me (VR12) headaches last night while I was exploring.

I fully understand how some people love the challenge of the VR levels, especially the mob density in the last two zones in both the Silver and Gold quests. However, those people only represent a small percentage of players as most of us find this content to be insanely and unnecessarily difficult.

Fixing technical issues

Multiple options could be interpretted the same.
Fixing technical issues and balancing the classes for example, because it's the technical issues that are unbalancing the classes.

The need to get the passives working right, which would fix most of the issues with stamina.
Then they need to balance the classes.
Then they need to fix half a dozen minor issues.
And of course they need to fix the bugs all through out this.
And numerous issues with Vet content need addressing too.

This to me comes under fixing the technical issues. To be honest it probably doesn't what order, just so long as they fix them.

Fixing stamina

Fixing stamina, fixing heavy armor, and fixing melee would be my personal priorities. Not sure whether the fact that my vr3 DK is not much fun to play right now is because veteran content is too hard, or because melee underperforms.

Fixing Vet content

It was a toss up between balance and vet levels. And I agree alot of vet level issues are balance related. But if vet levels aren't fixed sooner rather then later, ESO may not have enough players playing the game to even worry about the other problems.

Top 3 things ive seen form my guilds unsubs.

1).melee and armor balance

2).Veteran content is bad all the way around Aside from the VR dungeons. Its not well thought out and trials are zero enjoyment with limited res and having to reform.

3). Itemization is horrible VR content rewards are garbage you can craft better sets with 3 and four traits compound that with the Armor being of no value in the medium or heavy department. People dont even want to run VR dungeons . Mostly VR content is XP farming for alts or new VR players tired of the ZOS quest grind.

I'm going to guess that you don't have a full appreciation for the sheer number of people that have left and continue to leave each day. If you care about the future of this game, then it would be wise to care about subscriptions. Or case in point, lack there of.

Um, ok. If you say so. Im at vet level and I cant choose what to do.

4. Group tool sucks. no groups

Have you tried making one?

Sure, some good players have left cause of bugs, and the lag in Cyro for weeks IS annoying. But zeni confirmed a bug and have a fix. Still, yeah annoying.

Only speaking for EU server but our zones are full. Vet 1 areas just starting to fill up. And new players are joining the game.

Out guild is small, but grow slowly. I dont see a huge influx of players. But lower numbers....nope. Not any lower then most mmo at summer time.

All the evidence is there Cogo. Even if certain people refuse to see it. Thread after thread and poll after poll indicate that VR content is the #1 reason people are leaving. For one reason or another. The popation of the VR 1 zones are not a very accurate gauge. Try a VR7 zone.

Or look at the average guild roster. Maybe you haven't been in any large guilds. I have. Several that peaked at 500. Those rosters are now literally half full of accounts that have been inactive for 10 days to 2 months.

Supporting the game is great. If you are having fun and your guild is having fun, then that is also great. But there are countless posts here from reasonable people that are noticing a large exodus. They are coming here because they are concerned.

I have personally lost 3 of the 4 friends that came here with me. I have personally talked with several new friends that left or are about to leave. Not one of them said because it was summer.

If you guys truly care about the future of this game, then I suggest you take the blinders off and take heed.
