Since housing is projected to be around 1.5 to 2 years away, no I'm not waiting on it. If I'm still playing ESO 2 years from now, it won't be because of the housing.

Housing is something to look forward to, but not very high on the priority list.

Housing? what the hell for ?

Haha! Your kidding right? Never played a game with housing? Here's some ideas that have been discussed in this forum:
    • storage
    • displaying trophies
    • crafting stations
    • a location for social events (i.e. guild meetings, role playing, etc.)

^^This is what I want housing for.
Especially if they do those armour dummies from Skyrim, they were fun, until the ones in Solstheim started moving around.
Weapon Racks would also be nice, as would the single mountable weapon trophy placques.

I do not wait for housing or factions for NB's or any new content that a developer tells me it will be at least 1 to 2 years for. For those that don't know or refuse to get a clue. 1 to 2 years down the road is adult speak from devs that are trying to tell you 1. Not a chance in hell 2.We are not looking that way 3. The boss has other ideas. Look at where the effort is going. Its minimal bug repair and not much else. The stated focus is on console release that is behind schedule. For those still refusing to read and learn. Fear not this thread shows up about every 6 days in 1 form or another.

Gawd I miss my houses in Skyrim... all nine of them... I think. I agree with you, an armory would be a fantastic feature in ESO homes. Something noted in the DAoC video I posted - binding stone. Works like a Wayshrine works in TESO. That would be a must for teleporting directly to your abode.

I miss trivial features like the gardens and furnishings you could implement for housing. Saw people in DAoC come up with some crazy landscaping, it simply amazed me the patterns and arrangements players laid out. Yeah, I toured the villages in DAoC checking out player homes - was very amusing.

I would enjoy it, but at this time I am not waiting for it. I'm not sure if ESO really needs it as the game really isn't that social at this point.

Would love to see housing, but not until we have some better balanced classes, tweaked VR levels and some better end game.
Basic circle of complaints on ESO Forums:
    1) Users: Fix game/class/bug
    2) Zenimax Online: Brings servers down and fixes issues and deploys patches.
    3) Users: OMG SERVERS ARE DOWN!!!!!
    4) Zenimax Online: Brings servers back up!
    5) See 1)

    LVL 25 Sorcerer, Daggerfall Covenant
    LVL 28 DK, Ebonheart Pact

    I would love housing.

Will I wait around for housing? No.

Housing will probably come 3 or 4 years from now, if at all.

I love housing in ESO titles. It is a big part of the game.

Will I wait 2 years or longer for it to be in this game. Not a chance.

Ofc im "waiting" for it while im playing.

But like some of the other posters , im not going to keep paying till they hit one day , if the dev team take too long , then i will quit for a while till they add more content.

It'd be a nice place to keep and display trophies rather than having them clog up precious bank and inventory space.

I also like customizing my house and stuff. I'm into that kind of thing. Also like the others it isn't something I'm sitting on my hands waiting for, I just want it. There are also things that DO need to be fixed too.

I'm not BUT I will say if implemented, the Dark Age of Camelot format was pretty cool long ago. I only bring this up because of the director having worked on that game long ago.

I assumed that would not be apart of this game because of all the dialogue about Guild Stores last year. I would like to see more NPC merchants give some level of access to guild stores.
ie: Weapon vendor gives weapons only access to the Guild stores.

Yes housing will save this game from f2p, why didnt we think of that?

But housing would be a great F2P thing. Lots of fluff to sell. I'm not waiting for housing but it would be good to have. Kinship Halls in LOTRO give focus for all sorts of kinship related activities.

The goal of just building a house in ArcheAge can be the focus of weeks of gameplay.

Archeage isnt all that, it went free to play in Korea in less than 6 months, and they nerfed the pvp out of it.

I have owned houses in other games and frankly their functionality, for me, was near zero. I spent very little game time in my house. Now if you want to talk about guild housing that I would support.

I want housing in the game.. in that sense I'm waiting for it. However it's not a make or break thing for me. If we weren't getting housing, it wouldn't effect my decision to continue playing.. and I'm not just continuing to pay only because housing is coming at some point.

    Well.
When I look at the comments, it appear that most of the players want housing.
Not right now because TESO has huge bugs/problems that have to be fixed first... but nearly all want housing.

Of course, it appear that just a house in the middle of the woods is not what players are waiting... They're waiting for lot of content around the housing.

I got a lot of idea for housing to bring contents in the game.
    Hope devs too.

Hell no. They said that housing is two years away, two years!

I highly doubt i'll still be playing this game in two years.

Heck, at the rate they break, fix, and break things again in this game I won't be playing in two months, let alone two years.

Yes with the key word "wait", there are plenty of things to fix before this goes live.
Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.
